If the rumor is true that Bryant is coming back, Archie will still have a good amount of talent to work with here. RoJo/Bryant/Morgan are all guys I think can be stand out type of players with good coaching, and Green/Jones are young guys who showed potential to be something special (specifically Green). Blackmon is so good offensively you hope he can put it all together, but i'm skeptical he can. If he does return I'll hold out hope Archie can put together a defense that hides him or improve his defense overall.
Don't forget about Davis. He's going to be really good.

Impressive stat I just saw on Archie: He's taken Dayton to 4 straight tournament appearances, prior to his hiring, Dayton had been to 4 tournament appearances in the last 21 years.

I have to say, I have more interest in Indiana basketball than I have had in several years, probably since the loss to Syracuse in the Sweet 16 several years back. The more I read about Archie, the more excited I get.

Maybe your furniture will be able to breath a sigh of relief, as well.

I like Miller. His offense is fast. And he uses three guards so get use to that. The only difference is he puts his post player on the post. There are very little pick and pops. The screener dives to the block and they work around the perimeter. His transition offense is elite.

He's not big on the soundbytes. Sounds like a no nonsense type of guy.

Glass just said Archie was the only coach who was offered the job.

Miller is the type of hire I was hoping for when they got Sampson. An up and comer with an excellent pedigree and resume. And young enough he could really make a mark at IU for the long haul. Young enough as well to be adaptable yet with plenty of experience to know how to lead and know how he wants things done.
Nuntius was right for a while. I was wrong for a while. But ultimately I was right and Frank Vogel has been let go.

Archie's contract is 7 years/23.45m, so slightly above what Crean was making.

Archie is just a basketball first guy. Yeah he's going to take care of his kids but he knows his meal ticket is on the court.
