When I said Google I meant that both Chrome and Firefox use the same Google database of phishing websites. That is why they both have the issue. For the average person I would not recommend turning off the phishing protection, just ignore the warning, and report it as a valid site like I said in my previous post.

Able is hoping to get the final move to the new servers done this week. Once that happens either the new IP address routing will keep the phishing find from matching or else it will be worth putting in the huge amount of effort to get everything corrected based on the new address.

you can start by typing in the address, then making a bookmark, why 75% of ppl uses google to return to sites is way beyond me
typing "pacerdigest.com" directly into the address bar gets me to the exact same red page warning, on chrome. I have clicked on "details" and reported it as a false warning on a couple of computers, but I still get warned about you hackers!

The poster "pacertom" since this forum began (and before!). I changed my name here to "Slick Pinkham" in honor of the imaginary player That Bobby "Slick" Leonard picked late in the 1971 ABA draft (true story!).

How is this problem not fixed yet? I like this site and check in here quite a bit. Every time that I try to come here, I have to click through the same 3 pages of crap everytime just to get to view this site.

Able can't fix it. It needs to get dropped off the list shared by everyone out there, and the only way to do that is to keep telling them this isn't a hijack site.

**** happens. thanks to able for paying for an ad-free board that, though divisive and petty at times (hey, that's sports) really is the best sports related message board I've ever been a part of. if at any point you think PD is bad you need to venture into the cesspools of sports message boards then scurry back to the civility and, mostly, respectability of PD.

boohoo, you have to click through a phishing warning.

though it would be hilarious, and I know it's not how it works, but it would be hilarious if firelarrybird.com read as clean.

What sucks is I can no longer visit PD at work.

All we can say is keep reporting it as safe.

It has not reappeared in the Avast database (at least, not yet), so when I get to a page I can at least scroll through it with the scrollbar instead of having to futz around with arrows.

The move to the new server and IP is still planned - the delay is because no one volunteered to do graphics for able so he has to scrape together time from his staff to do it (that he pays for, so another huge THANKS!). As soon as it is ready we'll be moving to the new site with new version and new specific PD app.

That's weird . . . my old Win7 PC that I thought was long dead booted up quite nicely the other day. I've been using my Mac Airbook from work ever since it died. Anyway, I updated SRWare Iron (chrome variant) and lo and behold I don't get the phishing message anymore

This may explain why we are having this problem. It appears disgruntled banned (and he deserved it) member TOP reported PD as a phishing site.

    What an *******.

I'm still getting the phishing warnings. I don't know how many times I can submit to Google that this isn't a phishing site. WTF It's so damn annoying.
First time in a long time, I've been happy with the team that was constructed, and now they struggle. I blame the coach.

That red page is the new PD welcome page.... 4 months later it's still there. I still occasionally do the routine to report it as safe.

He probably just tried visiting the site and got the phishing warning like the rest of us and didn't click on through and instead backed out. I doubt he's the reason for the warning. Just another affected by it.

According to Google's diagnostics page, PD is flagged for these reasons:

    https://www.google.com/transparencyr...cersdigest.com

Since the site is basically a public forum, I suppose it's feasible that some bad content managed to get through... I assume spam regularly gets deleted, but maybe some particularly nasty attack managed to leave some traces? TBH I have no idea.

It's clearly causing some people some problems... Especially for some of those that post from work computers and the like.

In IE, you can circumvent the warning by adding PD to your trusted sites.

Go to the gear-looking icon and click Internet options. Go to the Security tab, click on Trusted sites, and add pacersdigest.com. Uncheck Require server verification for all sites in this zone.
