The more that's coming out this seems premeditated.

Are you talking about this angle?

The suit names William Ceravolo as one of the police officers, and according to the New Orleans Advocate, Ceravolo had dinner with Smith the night of the shooting.
Nuntius was right for a while. I was wrong for a while. But ultimately I was right and Frank Vogel has been let go.

Now there's another video from 2 or so blocks away that shows Smiths Mercedes hitting the guys Hummer. Then, a few blocks later, the Hummer hits the Mercedes.

    The plot thickens .....................

Smith had a loaded gun in his vehicle too. Sadly I don't think he's going to be the innocent bystander so many people praised him to be when the story first came out.

Will Smith was shot once in the chest, seven times in the back
Posted by Michael David Smith on April 13, 2016, 2:29 PM EDT

Although the man who shot and killed former Saints defensive end Will Smith is claiming self defense, the New Orleans coroner’s preliminary report says Smith was repeatedly shot in the back.

Coroner Jeffrey Rouse said today that Smith was shot eight times in all, once in the chest and seven times in the back. One bullet went through Smith’s body; the other seven were recovered from his body during the autopsy.

“These bullet tracks had entrance into the left upper back (1), left mid-back (2), left lower back (3), and left lateral chest wall (1). Many of these bullets perforated vital organs, including the lungs and heart. One of these wounds was a perforating wound, with both an entrance and an exit wound. This bullet entered the left upper back, traversed soft tissue, and exited from the right shoulder area,” the coroner’s statement said.

Cardell Hayes, who faces a second-degree murder charge in Smith’s death, may have a hard time convincing a jury that self defense required shooting Smith seven times in the back.

Will Smith’s wife files wrongful death lawsuit against Cardell Hayes

The second phase of legal action arising from the shooting death of Saints defensive end Will Smith has begun.

Cardell Hayes, already convicted of manslaughter in connection with the incident that left Smith dead and his wife shot in the leg, has been sued by Will Smith’s estate and by Raquel Smith. The lawsuit also names the insurance companies providing coverage to the cars that Hayes and Will Smith were driving.

Other lawsuits have been filed as the one-year anniversary of the incident approaches. Richard Hernandez and his wife, who were riding in the car with Will and Racquel Smith, have filed suit against Hayes and Will Smith’s estate. Jonathan Whipple, who was driving a car that was rear-ended in a chain reaction after Hayes slammed his vehicle into Smith’s, also has sued.

Civil lawsuits are routine in car accidents, but the added element of a confrontation that led to gunfire, mayhem, and death will make it a little more difficult to wedge the events with the boundaries of insurance coverage. The fact that the lawsuits are being filed just before the Louisiana deadline for doing so suggests that any efforts to settle the insurance claims before going to court have failed.
