Does it matter? Unless the offensive line proves they can block, the good teams are going to destroy Luck.
Don't ask Marvin Harrison what he did during the bye week. "Batman never told where the Bat Cave is," he explained.

So? They had putrid QB play (pretty much the worst in the league aside from when Osweiller was hot for a couple weeks) last year and won the Super Bowl.

You've watched our defense over the years, right? Any warm body that can throw a football is capable of completing 80% of their passes against them.

That's true. It's much harder though to maintain a dominant defensive performance from year to year. They also had only the 10th best point differential last year and only finished 8th in DVOA. They are only tied for the 7th highest over/under win total this year.

Now with that being said, they are projected as either tied or half a win better than the Colts this year, and the game is in Denver. It's a winnable game for the Colts, but the Broncos will almost certainly be favored.

I agree that it will hard for them to maintain that dominance. I certainly don't expect them to make the super bowl again. That being said, they will certainly be a brutal opponent for the Colts.

We really stunk last year and still almost made the playoffs. With a healthy Luck we should be capable of winning any game.

I'm not ready to write the season off yet.

We were honestly a 5 or 6 win team last year that benefitted from a joke of a division. When you really think about it, the division probably holds us back more than it helps us.

The Colts are going to start the season 5 and 0. Look at the schedule. They have Andrew Luck. Nothing else matters.

As spoiled as Colts fans are they'd probably consider a 5 and 0 start bad.

What guarantee is there that we'll have a healthy Luck if the line plays poorly again?

The team will always have a chance as long as they play in the AFC South

I'd say 10 wins, which will be good enough to win the crappy division.

The division opponents almost always choke against the Colts.

I think they will be 9-7 but still win the division.

Crappy division? The AFC South is no walk in the park. Houston, Jacksonville and Tennessee are all better teams than they were a year ago. Houston strengthened their biggest weakness in QB. I don't think Brock will set the world on fire, but O'Brien had that team winning with Hoyer and Keenum.... Jacksonville has loads of offensive talent. And their defense is definitely improved. Tennessee isn't there yet. But year 2 of Mariota, Henry and Murray at RB should be a nice duo.

The Colts are going to have a lot of competition in the South. 4-2 in the division would be pretty damn good. Wouldn't surprise me to see Houston/Indy/Jacksonville all go 3-3 in the division

I'd be shocked if they started 5-0. Denver and Jacksonville are two very tough road games. San Diego always gives Indy difficulties.

I'll believe it when I see it. Every year we hear this, and every year those teams still suck and usually crap their pants if they have a chance to beat us.

Constantly beating up on underwhelming teams doesn't make the Colts any better. They're still an underwhelming team in their own right. Just less crappy than the crappy teams in their division lol.

I do think Houston will be pretty good however.

I thought the Jags would offer the biggest threat.

This is how it will probably go down. We will make the playoffs where at some point we will face the Pats and you know what's coming then.
