Did you hear about the Astronaut Scott Kelly, who just returned from outer space and had grown two full inches in height?
Why, because of lack of gravity over an extended period of time?

You guys can disagree with Presto if you want to, but ghosts do exist. Would not surprise me at all if spirits hang out at KI

Never said I absolutely believe in ghosts(see post #15) , but I'm willing to keep on open mind and it's a fun subject to talk about. I think it's all these ridiculous ghost hunter shows all over TV that have people rolling their eyes more than anything.

Yes. Although not sure I'd call it "growing."

I had an open mind towards the paranormal but wasn't convinced fully until I had a very personal experience about 7 years ago that to this day I cannot explain using rational thought. Since then, I've been a full-fledged believer in the supernatural.

    I really can't. It's a story that I really prefer I keep personal.

If the afterlife doesn't have rollercoasters then why wouldn't ghosts haunt Kings Island? And it's much cheaper than Disney World for them too! Plus, they probably have some problem with Walt being cryogenically frozen as well.
Nuntius was right for a while. I was wrong for a while. But ultimately I was right and Frank Vogel has been let go.

Do you want to know how I found out that I am a ghost? I was using a Ouija board and I realized that I was talking to myself.

I can't say anything conclusive about the after-life (if it does indeed exist) or spirits or a soul or what happens whenever we're outta here. BUT - the people that claim to see 'ghosts' and describe the clothing they're wearing - well - that's just nutzoid whacko. A soldier from the Civil War sure as hell isn't going to be wearing his uni and carrying his gun. Nope.

The other stuff ?? Not a clue.

Off topic but still on amusement parks: I got curious and looked up many of the ride incidents at many of the major theme parks. A common theme seems to be patrons bypassing safety rules. A teen was beheaded in Georgia for climbing a couple fences and taking a shortcut back into the park right through a roller coasters path. WTF? How stupid can you be? Also, didn't realize a 45 year old man was killed at Cedar Point last summer( August 2015) after he climbed fences into a restricted area of Raptor coaster to retrieve his wallet or cell phone and was struck in the head by a coaster car. The guy was a High School guidance counselor to boot. Sad.

Nope...all urban legend. I heard the same stories as you back in the day and believed it for a long time. I even rode the Bat back when it was new. I've done enough research and heard from enough park employees to 100% say that nobody was killed on The Bat. Another legend was that somebody died on King Cobra. False as well.
I googled it after I made that post, you're 100%correct. Back in the day a lot of my highschool classmates went to Kings Island often. So that urban legend was "fact" around here. Me and some freinds thought we just missed flying off the ride by a weekend. I remember the King Cobra one too. Very interesting, we didn't have Google back then.

I grew up on the near east side of Indy and we lived in a house with a ghost. Every single member of my family had at least one encounter with it as well as several visitors to our house. In all 12-14 people had encounters with it. I personally had 3. In essence, they were all benign but one still gives me the creeps to think about. It had a thing for one of my sisters and she dealt with it on a daily basis.

So, I can't explain why ghosts exist or whether or not they represent any evil, but they are definitely out there.

Can you give examples or do you prefer to keep it private as well?

When I'm not typing on my phone I'll give some good examples. Nearly everyone actually saw it. There were a few incidents of noise. The persistent harassment of my sister involved noise. Or rather a sound. And there were incidents of things moving. Once a thing disappeared and later reappeared in another part of the house.

What city was this house located and did the paranormal stop if you moved locations? Some of the stories on my Unsolved Mysteries discs have the activity stopping once they changed locations.
