    Default How about this Jazz???

Utah beats Detroit tonight by capitalizing on Piston mistakes...

Looked like Detroit was going to beat them, but Utah came back down the strech. This Utah team again will be a handful for us, but I dont think we will overlook them this time!

And to add to the great news of the night, Boston is in 8th place in the East

    Do I smell payback??
Don't ask Marvin Harrison what he did during the bye week. "Batman never told where the Bat Cave is," he explained.

Nice. They are gonna be without Hamilton for the next 3 games of their trip too(nasal surgery) so might be more likely to drop a few more.

Eventhough the Cavs got beat tonight in Chicago, I'm still going for the Cavs for the 8th seed. Boston doesn't deserve the playoffs for Ainge tring to scuttle that team, imho!

Keep in mind though we'll be losing rip, we'll be gaining Okur back after the next game. Ron Mercer should also be in the fold thursday. We should be capable of winning in Portland, if Sheed brings his A game.

It wasn't about being the team everyone loved, it was about beating the teams everyone else loved.

I just got back from the United Center, and the Cavs were unimpressive at best. LeBron had a horrible night, and they never really got into an offensive rythm. James did score a quiet 18, but never looked comfortable on the floor. He also stood on the off-ball side of the court the entire night, and never moved to make himself a part of the offense. he was good in transition, and had four steals, but made a few dumb turnovers. he tried to make the perfect pass in traffic every time. He shot it 17 times, but was still a little passive. Boozer and Ilgaskis were the only bright spots. Ilgaskis reminds me of Rik Smits the more I see him play. In all, if we play them in the first round, and they play like they did tonight, it'll be over in 4. I know they can play better.

For the Bulls, Hinrich is playing really well. They seem to be a team that has enough young talent to garner a playoff spot in the next two years or so. Curry was efficient, and dominating at times. he's hard to stop if he's playing hard. He needs a few more post moves, and some tenacity on defense to be the player he is projected to be. Their backcourt of Crawford and Hinrich is exciting, and versatile. Bulls fans love Hinrich. He dunked one in traffic tonight. Didn't know he could dunk, as he never did in college. Hinrich is a sharpshooter, and Crawford is a slasher. They should develop well together, if given the chance. They have the parts, but are waiting on a lot of guys to develop. They are fun to watch.

    Look out, world!
Welcome to Pacers Digest! New around here? Here are three tips for making the forum a great place to talk about Pacers basketball.

    • Log in. Even if you want to read instead of post, it's helpful because it lets you:
    • Change your signature options. You can hide all signatures by choosing "Settings" (top right) then "General Settings" (middle left) and unchecking the box "Show Signatures" (in the "Thread Display Options" area).
    • Create an ignore list. I know it may seem unneighborly. But you're here to talk about the Pacers, not argue with someone who's just looking for an argument. Most of the regular users on here make use (at least occasionally) of the "Ignore" feature. Just go to "Settings" -> "Edit Ignore List" and add the names.

    Enjoy your time at PD!
