    Default Inspirational message of defiance!!!!!!

This one day a year we, the brotherhood of the Pacers nation, come together as one. We come together in hope, in pride & ultimately in defiance.

No matter if you think Jeff Foster is a rebounding monster or if you think he is as soft as a pillow. Today it doesn't matter if you believe Jon Bender is poor player who has been beset upon by injury's or if you think he is a wimp. If you are an Artest supporter or an Artest antagonist, today it does not matter.

The only thing that matters is that today, of all days, we bleed blue & sweat gold together.

We know the history of the season, we know where we were where we could have been & where we are. It does not matter.

We all know that the N.B.A. has tried to keep us down, we know that we are the black hats that they have tried so hard to keep from being in their show.

They took away our players & it still did not matter. They tried to take away our pride & it still did not matter.

Yes, it would have been easy to lay down & die & one day in the future look back & feel good about just being here. But lying there, in our beds one day in the future wouldn't we give back every day between now & then for one shot at glory.

In other words Stern can try & keep us down but he cannot take away our FREEDOM!!!!!!!

So in the future no one will rember who was right or who was wrong, all that matter is that few stood against many & were not conquered!

So Brothers & Sisters today we join together, both Artesion & Non-Artesion alike, to send this one defiant call to the N.B.A.

STUCK FERN & SCREW THE N.B.A.

    Go Pacers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't ask Marvin Harrison what he did during the bye week. "Batman never told where the Bat Cave is," he explained.

I still can't believe Stern didn't come to Reggie's farewell game, or at least have something on video. I mean, come on, ex-president Bill Clinton said something, you would think the commissioner of the NBA would say something-- what a coward.

And I'm sure most of us would bet a lot of money that the playoff game he talked about coming to won't be in Conseco.

I do truly love the playoffs. The best time of the year without question.

Peck, you're correct, sure we as Pacers fans argue, disagree about what we want our team to do, but we all band together and fight the "enemy" when it is time. Sort of like family, you might not get along with your family, but if an outsider tries to destroy your family, you band together and fight together.

Game 1's are so, so, so important.

    I am with you.

I will be leaving my current residence in NY to head to home sweet Indy from 5/4 - 5/10. Hopefully I will have a chance to get some tickets and support the team live in Conseco. I have to see #31 lace 'em up at least one more time.

The one thing I think that alot of our great teams over the past decade could have used more of is mental toughness. This team has been through hell and back, and they are a resolute band of wounded brothers. If they leave it all on the floor every night, then they can go really far.

We as fans will have their backs no matter what.

    GO PACERS!

You're kidding right? If Stern had taped some video message the boos would have been so loud no one would have been able to hear what he said. Also fans would have been escorted out by the thousands for throwing things at the jumbo tron.

As for Clinton saying something I couldn't figure out why he'd say something, but then Kegboy reminded me that the Simon are big Dems.
