Default Anyone have this excerpt from 'Bird Watching' ?

It's been years since I read it, but I remember a small passage about a time when the Pacers were entering the arena from the lockerroom, as they were in the tunnel heading out, people were throwing beer and the like at them, and he told (I think a ref) that they were about to turn around and leave right then and there if it didn't stop.

Reminds me a little of 11/19 (beer being thrown) and Friday (leaving because of fan nonsense).

Does anyone have the book handy that could type that part out? I have a copy, but I have no clue where it is.

I think he also says when and where that happens, and I'd like to know that.

I don't recall that, but I'll skim it again and see if I can find it.
