Default When will Artest talk with the Press

I thought I recalled in the Indystar a few weeks ago, that they said that the Pacers were allowing Artest to talk with the press on a certain date.

Does anybody else remember this or am I imagining it.

I thought I read long ago that after he was back at practice for a while, eventually he would be open to the press. Hasn't happened yet obviously.

I thought they gave an exact date. For some reason I think it was the Sixth of April now that I think of it.

    Relevant part:
"Artest has been practicing with the Pacers in Indianapolis since Jan. 24. His management group expects to make Artest available for public comment sometime after April 19."

I have no idea what is special about April 19th since there would still be more regular season games to play (IIRC). I could understand after the last game has been played because then there's no chance of him saying something to matter (negatively) at a return this season.

Nuntius was right. I was wrong. Frank Vogel has retained his job.

Our last regular season game is the 20th. I wouldn't expect him to talk until after that. Actually I think he shouldn't say anything until our season is over.
