In other news, Vince Carter is on NBA TV calling his teamates out today in the media for "lack of effort"

It wasn't about being the team everyone loved, it was about beating the teams everyone else loved.

Nope, listened to the whole thing, after the Nets got roasted by Minnesota....

The jist of what he said was, "Its all about effort. If we had given more effort, we'd have been in this game. I know they're a good team, but if we had tried harder it would have been closer."

Speaking of getting roasted, The LeBron's got blown out of the water tonight.

And in a related story, Rasheed Wallace stated that he thinks his teammates are complaining to the officials too much.

The funny thing is, he's probably right. And Sheed leads the league in techs.

But he was the only guy on the roster who DIDN'T complain tonight, so maybe he's trying to lead by example....

    Hey, better late then never.

The fact he pretty much set up camp in the paint tonight suprised me more, though. Sheed is usually very passive.

I agree - better late than never. Although, I was watching the Pistons broadcast (yes, I sat through Laimbeer), and the courtside mic's picked up a little of Rasheed's complaining one time I remember because he made me laugh.

He goes to the ref: "And - how is that NOT a foul? Oh - well...I DON'T NEED IT!"

Yeah, Rasheed is nothing, if not a quote machine....easily the most charismatic player we've had since rodman.

Man Sheed makes me laugh all the damn time, when he fouls someone and they go to shoot FT's and they miss Sheed says "The ball dont lie"
and then "Both teams played hard, good bye and good night".

AHHHH Wardrobe malfunction. I demand hours of meaningless debate, I demand that games be on a time delay, I demand we regain morales.

That look on his face totally reminds me of Rocky at the end of the fight. "Adrian! *the score is loudly playing* Adrian!!! Adrian!" "Primoz!" "Adrian!" "Primoz! Primoz, I love you! I LOVE you!" *fanfare; fade to black*

The question here is why? Why did Primoz feel the need to lift up his shirt and parade around to celebrate? Was he showing off his six-pack (short of about 6 beers)? I understand taking the jersey and showing the logo on the front, etc. But just lifting it up and running around is hillarious.

Ah - he's a rookie in that area I suppose. I'm sure it was just a heat of the moment thing but it really is funny.

He wasn't celebrating. He was running for his life! He was probably afraid Shaq would go after him for outplaying him. How else does a less than muscular white man stop Shaq in his tracks?

Well, he's European. I'm surprised he didn't take off his shirt, run the length of the court, and then slide on his knees at the 3 point line, screaming, "GOOOOOAAAALLLL!"
