    Default Dale/Jackson vs. Artest/Harrington

If JO and Tins are back for the playoffs does the Dale/Jackson combo compare favorable to Artest/Harrington? If so, then our championship hopes aren't dead yet.

    Against the Pistons? Evidently.

The biggest factor in the playoffs could be a resurgent Reggie Miller.

Dale is also better against Shaq. So against our two main threats.. Dale is the better fit.

That's a good point. I think if JO & Tins get back and we go into the playoffs with some decent momentum, we could make some noise. I also think ending this season on a positive note could pay dividends starting next year. That said, I think we have very little chance of beating the heat no matter who comes back. We barely did last year with Artest and without Shaq. Not only are they a locomotive barreling down the mountain, they are healthy. After last night, I think the MVP race is pretty well sown up.

I am both worried and not worried about the Heat. Have they beat us yet this year? I am starting to think that with a healthy Jamaal and Jermaine back for the playoffs as long as we dont lose anyone else we can beat just about anyone. Our bench players are more seasoned and know how to perorm in games.

Of course if we just go to the dump it into Jermaine offense we might lose to anyone.

It's nice to have Dale Davis: a real center. Dude is just a man out on the court. Doesn't get tossed around by Ben Wallace like Foster was last year. But do I think Shaq in the playoffs would steal Dale's lunch money and beat him senseless? Yes.

Dale does a decent job against Shaq. Shaq will still get his points but Dale will limit his rebounding and play about as good of D as you can on Shaq. With a healthy Fred Jones on Wade I like our chances. We are simply deeper than they are.

Right, we arent beating anyone if we just dump it into Jermaine every time. I just wish the other guys could play like this when Jermaine is on the court. Reggie's game completely changes when JO is on the floor, he becomes totally unaffective. When JO is out, Reggie is still a very valuable player to the team.

We just need to make the playoffs. I can't even look beyond that yet.
