What an embarrassment. Poor defending finally caught up with USMNT. Inexcusable to lose before the finals.
Don't ask Marvin Harrison what he did during the bye week. "Batman never told where the Bat Cave is," he explained.

Is the date for the playoff game set?

I think you have to entertain whether or not Klinsmann should continue coaching this team. He's done a good job getting the USMNT to this point but this tournament has been an utter disaster. They have been completely outplayed this game and outside of the 3 prior matches before the Gold Cup they have looked terrible since the World Cup last year.

Oh shoot I forgot they played today. Probably speaks to how uninterested I am in a 3rd place game, this team should never be in a 3rd place game in the Gold Cup.

USMNT loses. What a horrible outcome, an embarrassment to US soccer. Just bad.

I've been watching a lot of FC Dallas and I think we've got a young rising star in Kellyn Acosta. Dude is fearless on both sides. He makes some dumb mistakes but his talent is immense.

Haven't seen him play, but there's a ton of promise at the U17-U21 level in general. Miazga, Carter-Vickers, Rubin, Hyndman, Zelalem, Payne, Steffen. Morris, really. I realize any nation can be excited about its youth, and most of these guys don't quite pan out to where we think they will. But this is one of the more promising generations in a long time.

Just too bad only one or two of them play factor into the current WC cycle.

Zelalem has been putting on a clinic for Arsenal's U-19 squad. He'll end up seeing time with the 1st team this season.

Arsenal is pretty loaded at his position. It'd take some pretty bad injury luck for him to get more than a cursory run in a meaningless UCL group game or something like that. So, as an Arsenal fan, I fully expect him to get considerable first team run.

And on cue, Jack Wilshere has a fractured ankle. It starts before the ****ing season does.

Brazil gave us a nice *** raping today. Jurgen's bandwagon is emptying fast.

Yeah damn that was bad. If we don't beat Mexico Oct 10th/11th or whatever it is he should be gone imo.

Glad there was tennis on, this was embarrassing. Don't care if it's Brazil, you can't lose 4-0 at home. Jurgen continues to make poor decisions for onfield formations and placement of players out of their comfort zone.

Followed our loss to Mexico with a loss to Costa Rica. Lost three in a row on US soil for the first time since 1997. Might be time to ditch the German.

I'd say its been time to ditch him since the Gold Cup loss.

Word has it that Jurgen Klinnsman is the favorite to land the England job, and the higher ups in US Soccer won't try to stop him. We can only hope.
