I was watching ESPN 2 last night I think the show is called NBA Shootaround, probably their best NBA show, 2 hours every Tuesday night
with all their guys on the show, DA, Steven A, Greg Anthony, Bucher, Legler, Stein.
Bucher mentioned that he thinks an eastern conference team will win the championship this season, so the conversation naturally turned to the Pacers, Bucher said the Pacers have the best record in the league, and then several of the guys said yes, but that is playing against the weak eastern conference.
Of course that begs the question, what is the Pacers record against the west? NO one asked that question. If Bucher would have done a little research, he would have shut up a few people
So I am here to tell those ESPN guys.
Pacers are 14-6 against the west. That is a 70% winning clip, that is a 57.4 winning pace. According to Pacers.com that is the best record of any team against the west.
So the next logical question: What western conference teams do the Pacers still have to play.
@ G. State
@ LA Clips
3 very winnable games, let's say the Pacers go 2-1.
They also have two very tough road games
Let's say the Pacers go 1-1.
They have 3 tough home games
let's say the pacers go 2-1 in those games.
That would give the Pacers a total record of 19-9 against the west.
Wake up ESPN boys and do a little research you might learn something.
Pacers have played very well against the west, by any measure
