Everyone is starting to talk as if losing the last playoff spot and getting the 14th draft pick (because anyone counting on us moving up is dreaming in the same way as anyone still counting on us getting to the Finals) would be a positive event.

Unfortunately, I haven't noticed recent drafts being much deeper than about 5 to 7 for immediate impact players.

I also don't follow college hoops (and certainly national High School hoops) enough to know how deep the draft is likely to be.

So, can someone tell me why a 14th draft pick would be someone other than Yet Another Project?
