That is true. Free game for folks with the issue.
I finally got some free time to really sit down and enjoy NBA 2K14 today...you can't really appreciate just how amazing this game is until you play it in person.
Its without a doubt one of the most beautiful video games I've ever seen of any kind.
How is the flow with the kinect? Going from game to tv to DVD?
Pretty smooth/quick. Although I can't seem to get it to understand me when I reference a bluray for some reason. I have to use the controller for that, but that's still very quick. You just hit the Xbox button, which seamlessly takes you to the dashboard without closing your game/tv/video, and then you pick whatever you want to do instead. It's great how it saves your place with games and movies.
Have you tried a Skype call? I Skype frequently with family and that feature sold me on picking it up early.
I've used it once. The other end was using a smartphone, but it worked pretty well. I'd like to try it with someone using another kinect at some point.
Currently, you can't snap a video skype connection to the side panel while doing something else, but I believe that's coming later. In the meantime, if you do something else it keeps the connection going through audio only.
I'm sort of pissed I still need my 360 because nba gametime and crunchyroll, two services I paid for, don't have apps on xbox one. Get your **** together, MS.
Yeah, I was disappointed when I found out NBA game time wasn't going to be a launch app. I hope that's up soon.
How are retailers going to compete when there are digital downloads? Will a new release be available at 12:01 release day for digital download? If so.. Who would ever go to GameStop again?
You could still see extras offered for in store versions I suppose.
You can't sell used digital downloads back to gamestop, nor can you buy them at a discount from the online marketplace.
so...my NBA 2K14 won't work anymore. The menu won't respond to the controller. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Same problem.
My earlier troubles took me three fresh installs before it would work. That's the only thing I know to recommend.
I read a tip that if you press A exactly at the "17,000 hours" part of the intro, it works, and you'll be able to navigate the menus. Shockingly, it did.
2K says they have a patch coming this week that will address this.
finally played my first online team up...way easier to rebound, and the computer AI is much better on both ends of the floor.
The players feel so much heavier...not that that's a bad thing. A 7 footer shouldnt be able to move his feet or change directions very well.
Full kinect voice and gesture map
The install time is forever and a day my lord
I'm a big offline association guy and I must say... X1's version is AMAZING. Everything I'd ever want it to be. So in depth to the point if you have a bad rep with a team, they don't even answer your phone calls
I drafted this athletic C who is an absolute beast. He plays a lot like a young Shaq lol. I also love how coaching matters now and all the badges for personal. I fired Ty Corbin and hired a coach who is a teacher so my young roster would grow together. Just a lot of depth and the scary thing is they are just scratching the surface I can't imingine how good it will be in a few years. I hope they integrate euro league and the Dleague.
I use the user created draft class for a few years. Always like the real names to draft. But it's incredibly detailed.
