I know it's lessened because he has a personal connection to the disease, and I don't know if he ever followed through with his donation, but I've read several stories like this. I used to get SI delivered and was looking for a particular article about him, but couldn't find it.
I'm not gonna lie I would of took the West jersey too he is a bad ***.
I felt like we played like **** tonight missed rotations and really lazy at times good thing we had chicken noodle soup as Kenny Smith would say. We have to play a lot better if we want to beat Miami PnR defense was bad tonight.
Lance was so fun to watch tonight dude is just a good basketball player I would of loved to play with a guy like him in HS. Dude just knows the game and makes a lot of great plays on offense. His defense wasn't good tonight but he more than made up for it on offense and the glass.
Just have to hope that ankle doesn't bother Lance too much Friday night.
Wasn't one of andres better games tonight. He seems to have a high impact game followed by a low impact game, though part of that is due to the fact he plays with guards that don't get him the ball, aside from Bynum.
It's frustrating to watch him and Monroe basically have to create everything on their own. I love knight as a scorer and defender but he flat out sucks as a passer.
He certainly is out of position more often than he should be, but he also typically overcomes that by erasing the mistakes of everyone else. Not the case tonight.
I still love Greg Monroe.
Get rid of DJ for whatever you can, and slide Lance to the backup pg. I think a lineup of Lance/Green (OJ)/Young/Tyler/Ian wouldn't be any of a drop off. Couldn't be big, if there was.
Stop trying to force feed Hibbert to open the game up. Players resorted to standing around and watching his slow moves. I would much rather see Hibbert subbed out early, and then put back in against 2nd stringers, then try to get him post looks. The other guys are much more important to the offense than Roy.
No doubt that Rose is a much bigger name than Granger, but the information the Bulls are putting out there seems to be more specific and encouraging than what the Pacers have put out so far, ESPN aside. The Bulls just said that Rose has had full contact in practice. OTOH, the Pacers haven't mentioned Granger doing full contact practices yet. I'm just looking at what the teams themselves have said. It doesn't have anything to do with ESPN. Right now, I would bet that we see Rose on the court before Granger.
Maybe I'm just cynical by nature, but I've followed sports for a long time and have seen too many instances of a player being just "a few weeks away" from coming back, only to not come back at all. I'm not getting my hopes up about Granger until we at the very least hear that he has resumed full contact in practice.
Joe Dumars with $30M of cap-space to work with? Oh, boy, this is gonna be good.
I met and shook hands with Austin Croshere last night while I was in line to get a beer. He was just walking by, not drinking on the job.
I'd be more than happy with josh smith and Jose Calderon, with the leftovers going to Monroe.
Stay away from oj mayo, though.
Joe Dumars with over $30M in cap-space is the one thing that could convince Ben Gordon to decline his $13.2M player option.
Reporter: Ben, will you be accepting your $13.2M player option in the offseason?
Gordon: Of course. Nobody in their right mind would pay me anywhere near that amount if I hit free agency.
Reporter: Ben, are you aware that Joe Dumars has over $30M in cap-space to work with?
Gordon: Say what?!?! Player option DE-FREAKIN'-CLINED!
Gordon: If you'll excuse me, I must now go celebrate with the adding of chocolate to milk. This interview is over.
