Vogel would have to be coach of the year right now right?
I thought it was a beautiful game. Excellent defense from both squads.
D.J. Augustin and Ian Mahinmi look like good pick-ups, I still have hope that Gerald Green can turn it around, but I am probably the only one
Doesn't really matter if Green picks it up at this point as long as Danny comes back healthy.
Top 2 defensive teams playing each other. Should have realized it would be a nail bitter. Pacers were just turnover machines. Shouldn't have been that close. Pacers love shooting themselves in the feet with sloppy play that isn't forced at all by the opponent.
Hill was beyond bad with 8TOs. Another moment where he had Lance wide open for 3, and didn't pass it. He went on to miss a rushed 3 badly. Maybe Hill was still feeling sick. Easily his worst game of the year.
I knew Lance was gonna miss that fast break. I kept yelling to pass it to PG, pass it to PG!! All to no avail. Why can't these guys just dunk the *****ing ball?
Didn't even realize that PG was just 1 assist shy of a triple double. Dude is a freaking beast. Seems he could go for a triple double every night if he wanted too. A bit too unselfish though.
Was soooooooooo happy that Green finally got benched. Dude can't even anything. Just so awful. OJ did turn the ball over, but at least made his shots.
Great win, but by no means should this Pacer squad be confident by how they played.
Glad our bench showed up today to offset the 17 points by Ellington, we had the game quite a few times, but then would turnover the ball. Good win on national TV though. Glad this west coast trip doesn't have back-to-backs, PG played 42 minutes.
Gerald Green shot still missing.
Is Tony Allen the same player Boston offered in that Maquis Daniels S&T and everyone here said "Hell No"?
He has to be. Number one defense will do that. Got to think about Delnegro and Jackson too.
As bad as our offense was, we still shot 49.3% from the floor and 47% for 3. I'll take those percentages from this team ANYDAY. PG had a good all around game, but this is the type of game where Danny's scoring could have made this game a little easier. Great road win however. We definitely looked like the more physical team today, as opposed to when we played in Indy.
Why can't Hans play like this every game?
All in all, a great win against a very good and difficult side. Should have closed out that game a bit earlier but it's OK now. Hill was bad today. West made some critical shots down the strech again, Paul George a complete game without scoring much.Roy was positive most of the time and Lance rather anonymous. Finally, I really hope OJ takes Green's minutes.
I'm also ready for Vogel to bench Green for the rest of the year (if possible) and play OJ.
WEEEEEEE.....GREAT WIN!!! Couldn't sit the last 6 minutes just kept pacing back and forth as I watched......Rudy Gay will be very happy to know that they don't have any more match ups this season with Indiana, PG has now forced him into two awful shooting games, and the one quarter Gay went off in the 3rd was simply from tough shot making PG was relentless on D today......Nice contribution from Johnson and I give Vogel props for playing Green in the first half seeing that he simply didn't have his shot going this game and went with Johnson 2nd half instead of forcing us fans to watch Green launch up another 5 bricks to see him "shoot his way out of the slump". I hope he takes this approach for the rest of the season if Green hits his first few shots let him keep playing as he will contribute and when he doesn't make his first few keep his minutes limited that night.
A combined 14-40 shooting from Gay, Gasol and ZBo.
That's defense there......
