Shawnee Williams arrested again... What a waste...
I made the same question in the past here but from what i recall nobody had answered so here it goes.
Under all these bleak years under Jim O'Brien and the poor playing personnel why didn't we tank a season in order to get a high draft pick?I am in no favour of tanking in general but since it was clear that we were heading nowhere for some years, why didn't we do that?
1) You play to win the game. There is no honor in losing.
2) Losing begets losing. There are winning and losing cultures. If you lose on purpose, you throw your culture away and doom yourself to more losing.
I'm all about doing what it takes to put yourself in the best position to win a championship, but even I can't get behind tanking on purpose.
Now, a better question might be, during those awful years, why did we ride washed up veterans like Posey, Murphy, etc instead of playing and developing our youth? Well, that answer is easy. We had a bad coach and bad management.
Those 2 points are correct and i get you.But would it harm for one season?I mean i think they were finishing those seasons with a negative record, would it hurt that much if the margin was bigger for one season?Couldn't the tank be more "controllable" and not reach Bobcats level?
Why do the Pistons not play Greg and Andre together at end of games?
Great news for Pacer fans!! Pistons playing in double overtime game in Brooklyn tonight. Fantastic game if you've tuned in after the Pacer game was over.
No it's not good news man.Last time we faced a team that were coming out of a double OT the night before,we lost the game.
Great game coming up between Denver and Memphis.

They have played less than 10 minutes together combined for the season.
You can come up with a hundred different reasons. My guess is were tanking. That's the only justification to playing a guy with 2 rebounds 38 minutes while the guy with 9 and 3 blocks plays 18.
Stern's concussion-proofing of the NBA enters it's test phase:
there is no way in hell they have played 66 minutes together. That simply is not true.
Kyrie Irving has a broken jaw. He's going to wear a mask and keep playing, but man that guy's about made of glass.
I love me some Ricky Rubio!! Welcome back and way to play dude didn't skip a beat. Look forward to many healthy years from one of my favorite players.
Kyrie's cool with the mask
He spun his mask off on that play.
