Omer Asik in transition
He's got some good things in his offensive game -- he knows his limitations, finishes strong, passes pretty well (usually). But overall, he's a miserable offensive player and it's amazing that the Rockets found a way to have him score 10 points a game in just 30 minutes on 54% FG.
those fans in the background.
seems like Al Harrington's healthy but done for the year, Magic playing their young guys. probably shoulda just bought him out, but whatever.
I just noticed it's 5 games in 7 days for us. The first 4 vs. playoff teams, the 5th on the road on a back to back in Dallas. West questionable too. Yikes. If this team can go 3-2 i'll be very proud of them.
The NBA, where AMAZING happens. :)
Fan made BIG commercial.. best one yet.. lol
Ex-Knicks guard Ray Williams dies
NEW YORK -- Ray Williams, the former New York Knicks guard who averaged 15.5 points and 5.8 assists in 10 seasons in the NBA, died Friday. He was 58.
The Knicks confirmed the former guard's death, but didn't provide a cause. Coach Mike Woodson said he spoke to Williams' wife and brother to offer his condolences.
Born in Mount Vernon on Oct. 14, 1954, Williams was drafted 10th overall by the Knicks in 1977. He averaged 16.4 points in five seasons in New York and went on to play for New Jersey, Kansas City, Boston, Atlanta and San Antonio.
Williams, averaged 18.9 points in two seasons at the University of Minnesota, where he teamed with Kevin McHale, Mychal Thompson and longtime NBA coach Flip Saunders.
Coach Pop got win 900 tonight.
Well, if someone was to say in the beginning of the season, that the Wizards were going to beat Miami, OKC, Denver at Denver, and the Lakers most would have figured the Wizards would have been a playoff team.
Ariza had 7 threes tonight...making a point.

Why not take a look at the backside as well?
Magic in full tank mode, Afflalo done for the year
Marc Gasol out indefinitely with a reaggravated abdominal tear. Tough break.
We really are lucky Hibbert has been so healthy. Falling really does have something to do with it I think.
So how far can this Denver team go in the playoffs? Their 15 game winning streak would probably be getting a lot more publicity if it weren't for the Heat.
Congrats at least the kid is real this time
Wes Johnson has been called a dud, bust, and a poor draft pick by Kahn at Minnie by many here on PD. He was traded to Phoenix, and he is now starting. So far in the month of March, he's averaging 12.5 pts on 43% FG shooting.
Also Derrick Williams drafted by Kahn at Minnie is starting and playing well. Numerous PD posters were interested in trying to get Williams when he wasn't doing much. He, Rubio, Love, and Pekovic look to be a good core to build around for the T-Wolves. If they stay healthy, they could possibly be a playoff team.
Chase Budinger is back now playing after being out most of the season for the T-Wolves. He's a player I'd like to see coming off the Pacers bench next year.
Gortat and Scola is what they should look to deal if they get fair value.
Close to the trade deadline it was reported the Suns were trying to trade Dudley. That seems suggest they feel Wes Johnson was going to be the SG of the future for them.
Dudley is owed 4.25 mil for each of the next 3 years. That to me is a reasonable salary for what he produces even if a bench player.
The Heat are on the road in Orlando, but the Magic are wearing their black road jerseys and the Heat are wearing ( what I assume to be ) White Road jerseys.
WTF is up with that?
John Wall with an absurd game of 47/7/8. The guy has always had massive talent and potential--perhaps he's finally arriving?
Jae Crowder and Branden Wright are shapeshifters
