To be honest, Luck really hasn't looked very good today.
Trenches are where it's won. We're bad on both sides of the ball. That makes it really hard for what talent we have to really come into play. That will be a mountain to overcome this year unless there is significant improvement.
Can anybody make a play on this team?
Offensive line has been atrocious. 90% of the time when Luck throws the pocket is collapsing making it really difficult for him
He still made some nice plays though, and we know the talent is there, and it still showed while having a bad game. I'm pretty confident we are better a team than we have looked like today. The Bears should have one of the top offenses and a good D, they are legit.
the defensive coverage is terrible. half of the passes have been completed with no DBs around.
Thank goodness Reggie Wayne stuck around. I have a lot of respect for that guy.
That was a bad pass damn.
Haven't seen the game, but will watch it on Rewind tomorrow. Looking forward to drawing my own conclusions on Luck. But my first impression is say what you will about the lack of WR depth, but Luck couldn't get it going with Jerry Rice out there without a decent line to protect him.
I had never heard of Chris Adams before just then.
Ok so now he made a decent pass, it also feels nice that your coach trust you enough to go for it unlike the previous coaches and they had Manning.
Touchdown! The Bears look asleep right now, but I'll take it.
Nice pass, call me crazy but I think this guys Luck is better than Painter :D
There we go. Nice job there. Hopefully we can get a stop and maybe make this a little interesting at the end.
Well, if I had to choose between this winning this game or SB XLI...:D
Glad to see him manage a TD pass in his first game, despite the obvious struggles
Just happy for a TD pass, needed to get that monkey off his back
Brandon Marshall has looked excellent today.
Boy this remodeled defensive backfield looks like complete horseshit.
