How about a top 5? Ugh.
J-MAC is right there with Tyler though.
I love most of our players.
1. Hibbert (Leadership)
2. Tyler (Hustle)
3. Collison (Speedy young Point Guard ... I like his potential)
Hibbert, George, Stephenson.
Narrowing it to 3 is hard, which is a far cry from not too many years ago when FINDING 3 would have been hard.
Going with the guys I like how they APPROACH the game (rather than just the talent), I end up with a pool of Hibbert, Dunleavy, Foster, Hansbrough, McRoberts, and George.
Picking 3 from that pool, gotta go with Roy, Jeff, and Tyler. Dun is squeaked out because of recent injury, but only just...
In no particular order:
Just missed the cut:
I think these guys get the most out of their athletic abilities. Though all flawed, I don't ever wonder if they care.
I don't feel too strongly about any of them at the moment, to be perfectly honest. I've gotten behind various players over the past several years, only to be more or less underwhelmed.
So while I'll list three, I can't say it's a strong, passionate favorite in any instance:
Jeff - Not just for his history here, but his general veteran reliability in defense, toughness, rebounding, and knowing what to do within the team's offense/defense.
Josh - This one goes back and forth. His quieter games don't cut it for me, no matter how many picks he may or may not set. But the more he touches the ball, the more I tend to appreciate and like him. Love his court awareness and passing, his ability to finish, and his general ability go provide a little of this, a little of that.
Tyler when he doesn't look pathetically out-matched.
Mark Boyle, Clark Kellogg, and Larry Bird
Honorable Mention: David Morway
