I had to go poo, but someone was already abusing Stall 2, my typical safe haven.
So, I improvised my way into a top-secret safe haven on the other side o' the buidling and blazed a deuce in Stall 3.
Gas prices in Charlotte have gone from $3.55 to over $5.00 at some gas stations here in charlotte since this morning.
Can you say "Price Gouging"?
And to top it off, the stations are putting a limit of 10 gallons per purchase even though they at the same time are saying, there is "NO SHORTAGE".
I love stupid people.
Combine that with the fact that oil prices actually fell today, or atleast fell earlier in the day to under $100.
Pumps around here jumped 30cents a few days ago and is still up.
I just don't understand speculation. How in the world does what we think will happen affect prices? If I buy a barrell at $100, and I still have it, it doesn't matter what the price is going for right now. Sell it for what you bought it and make the adjustments each time you buy. You're not out any money just because you could buy it at a higher price at the moment.
I haven't bought gas for 2 weeks and I still have over half a tank.
Of course, if you could fuel a car with methane, I wouldn't ever have to purchase gas, I could just run a tube from arse to the tank.
I put $20 in my tank tuesday and need more. My own damn fault for buying a Dodge 4x4 I guess.
$45-$56.00 every 2 1/2 days. I'd make money by retiring and staying home.
When I was doing the commute, it was $45-55 every other day. Thank god that **** is over.
So it's Friday and pouring down rain right? I came in today wearing a elastic waisted knock-around slacks, a black t-shirt, and a flannel shirt out and unbuttoned.
I look at my desk and there is an offer on one of my listings that I NEVER thought would ever sniff an offer.:dance::dance:
Then I notice who represents the buyer and nearly fell out. The buyers agent has a condo listed that my client LOVES and it is the same price as was offered for my clients home. We are meeting in the AM at the condo to look over the offer and to decide if she is going to make an offer on the condo.
A possible sale and purchase and I'm not even in my work clothes. :happydanc:happydanc:happydanc
Atta boy geezer. Keep the faith!
Sometime I best be sticking some back for Taxes :censored: I don't think I can show an $8000.00 loss again this year.
Then again, Jr and Geezerette could use a different car. I'm thinking a used Jetta.
weather went from 85 degrees to 50 in just 2 days :( :( :(
Football fever. Crazy winds. No power for awhile.
New remodeled range at Atterbury is very nice.
16 days to the tree season.
Weather is all over the place here this time of year.
As are gas prices.
The stock market.
Geezers blood pressure.
I haven't bought gas since early August, and before that it was late June. Best part about not having a car at college. But at the same time I had to wait over an hour for the bus to pick me up at walmart with a handful of bags and case of water. And I'm paying more than enough in tuition to exceed any gas costs.
But its all about the future right, this degree thing i get in four years is supposed to pay off right?
No question going to school will pay off in your life.
Does it mean you're done and no longer have to prove yourself? Of course not. But you will pass through doors others cannot because you have a degree.
That and the d-bag realtor that geezer and I had to deal with lives about 8 houses down.
She's a bee-otch.
I figured you and Geezer would have that kitty purring.
I don't think kittens purr after you punt them.
I'm not sayin', but I'm just sayin'.
In my experience I would have to agree with you.
