2) The D.E.N.N.I.S. System.
Anyway, I banged out all 3 seasons of Community in the last week or so. I was just tired of hearing everyone (read: the internet) talk about how great it was so I figured I'd check it out. They were right, I really was missing out, though the 3rd season was a bit of a let down, sort of lost its' heart and got real gimmicky. But overall it's really a stellar broadcast network sitcom.
There are quite a few but "Hundred Dollar Baby" and "Dee Dates a Retarded Person" would probably be in the mix.
Damn, trying to pick a favorite IASIP episode is more difficult than choosing a favorite kid. The D.E.N.N.I.S. System and Hundred Dollar Baby are definitely up there for me.
Yeah, Lil Kevin was great. That's the episode with the original Nightman song too.
Like you guys have said, there are so many good ones it's hard to choose one.
One of my favorite quirks of the show is the dialogue they have at the very beginning of the show. I forget which episode it is (I think it's the one where Dee is going to be a surrogate and Frank buys that house), but the one where Charlie, Mac, and Dennis are discussing bird law is hysterical.
I've never seen a full episode of Always Sunny. I have the feeling that's going to be a treat when I get around to it through VOD/Netflix/whatnot.
Sunny is great, but for me it truly succeeds on the fact that you can just pretty much watch whatever episode is on without any concern about the actual season plot. I really enjoy that every once and a while and Sunny is perfect for that.
"Who Got Dee Pregnant" is up there for me. Watching Dee slowly turn more bird like gets me everytime. "Nightman" is pretty good too.
Wild card *****es.
I do actually love "Homeland" and I also love "Breaking Bad", this year was great, but last season of BB only got interesting for me towards the latter part of it.
I like the slow pace of "Homeland" actually. I think it really fits with the storyline and really contrasts with the "we need to get the plot clear and done in 45 minutes"-shows like "24" (which just really wasn't my thing).
I'm about to start season 2 of "Boardwalk Empire". Really liked the first season, but somehow I never got to start with season 2... well atleast I now have almost 2 seasons to watch :D.
"The Living Dead" season 3 is also upon us. Yay!
I almost forgot... "Downton Abbey" season 3 has just started... I love that show. "Sherlock" is really awesome too. I LOVE Brittish drama/tv-series!
Walton Goggins better get an Emmy for his work on Sons of Anarchy tonight
I don't know about that, but it was certainly..... Memorable.
Danny was on The Mindy Project with Amare and B-Diddy last night. The Pacers' sitcom presence is growing!
The show has been solid so far, mostly potential though. It did take New Girl a while to get going, so if it reaches that level by the end of this season, Fox has a great one-two punch. With female showrunners to boot.
LOL at the Season Premiere of Sunny.......Spoiler:
Anyone catch the latest episode of South Park? I was dying the entire time. The Bane masks really floored me. One of my favorite SP episodes, easily.
Warehouse 13. Usually don't like fantasy/sci-fi shows that can just make up their own rules as they go, but I find this one oh-so entertaining.
I watched several episodes of Always Sunny and it isn't for me. Not sure what type of sense of humor it is, but I didn't find it funny and thought it was not good.
I did watch Nashville mainly because the reviews were so good. The pilot was good. Maybe too much of a soap opera for my liking, but I'll keep watching for a few more weeks.
Also watched the pilot of Arrow. Not bad, sort of all over the map - might watch another week or two just because I am curious
