Diner Dash on the Xbox 360 arcade...
Can anyone recommend some games that are similar to Ages of Empire or Civilization but for the Xbox 360...
DO NOT say Civilization for the xbox 360, just ones like it.
Still going at it with Dragon Age...spent about 50 hours on it so far and nowhere near finishing the game yet...thats a lot of time for me to spend on a single game...
Last night I played a little:
Williams Pinball Hall of Fame (PS3 version = high def pinball, baby!)
I've shelved my Uncharted 2 about a month ago. It's a great game, I just don't know why I haven't played it for a while.
Update on Saboteur.
Just found while driving through the countryside that there are games to stop and play there. This game is unreal. HUGE!!!!!!!!!!
I just read where GT5 (Gran Turismo 5 for PS3) will have Indycar and Nascar in the final version.
Another reason I love Saboteur. I completed the main game and guess what, it's just the beginning.
I know all of you saw my melt down over fall out 3. Well this one is not like that.
In fact after the main quest you get a whole new set of contacts and individual quest.
Two huge thumbs up.
I read bad reviews for Saboteur so I stayed away. I'll have to check it out if you think it's all that.
I'm playing so many damn games right now. I'm a MMO junkie.
Right now, it is EQ2, they had the game with all expansions for sale on steam for $5 during christmastime. It is a great game, but it is so poorly optimized, my uber overpowered computer runs the game at 25fps on max settings, and the game just doesn't look that good at lower settings. Not going to sub to it.
Age of Conan has an endless trial, I've been playing that to test out my new ATI HD5870. The game runs great and I can play it on max settings DX10 and get 40 FPS in the most taxing areas. Probably won't sub, as I have bad memories of the game past level 20 after it launched.
Warhammer online has an endless trial too, and that game is so much fun at tier 1. I would never sub for that game as tier 1 is the best part of the game.
Borderlands is good times. I liked Fallout 3 better I think.
Dragon Age Origins is good, but overhyped. I am a big fan of the old Bioware games like Baldurs Gate, Icewind Dale etc.. So I loved the way they combined that style with a modern approach to the controls. Too bad they didn't use the AD&D system, but it was still a good, if over simplified. The game was very streamlined.
New game out that is freakin' awesome for anyone who liked Oblivion, Fallout 3, Gothic series etc.. Divinity II Ego Draconis. It is a gorgeous game if you have the hardware. It is kinda buggy with mem leaks still, but they will patch it soon. It is a must have, once they come out with the patch. I'd wait a month or so before getting it.
Star Trek online is coming out within a month (MMORPG) I am hoping against hope that it will be awesome, but from what I have been reading it is not going to be. This world really needs a badass Star Trek MMO, or any game for that matter. I hope they don't screw it up.
Hey Trekkies, if any of you are interested in the new Star Trek MMORPG coming out in Feb, they are giving away open beta keys to test it out here.
full impulse speed ahead.
We're sorry. All of the codes for this promotion are gone.
That was fast. :(
The game is pretty crappy anyway, unfortunately. :(
The graphics look like it's str8 outta 2004.
edit: check out this link for other possible beta keys under the FAQ. http://www.startrekonline.com/openbeta
more keys released this morning (1/16) here. http://www.mmorpg.com/giveaways.cfm/...-Giveaway.html
Hey, I've gotta question. I'm at level 70 in MW2. Should I even bother with prestige? I'm not showing off for anyone, so the new titles aren't that big to me (although I do like my glittery Scar-H bar I got). Waddayathink?
That's what it seemed like. I thougt I was missing something. Start over and and again so i can get some new banners. Nah.
You get one more spot unlocked for a new class as well I believe if that is something important to you.
fun online game: help Tiger silence the hos!
Dante's Inferno for Xbox360.
Good game, great graphics, nice story.
I was able to beat the game on the medium setting in about 6 hours of game play over time. Did have to go to youtube a couple of times to get answers for some of the puzzles you have to complete, but for the most part game was straightforward.
Probably 3 out of 5 stars, maybe it should be 4 stars (not sure).
