I keep visiting the website looking for an announcement, but I haven't seen it yet. I know it is a foregone conclusion, but it will be nice to have something to cheer about!

Yes, I've been looking for this as well. I sure thought he was to be signed last night.

After he saw JO go down, he said "Screw this, I want to play for a contender. Get Detroit on the phone."

OK. I made that up. But the way things are going this year...

You guys have to give it a little time, IIRC, signing Dale should go something like this:

1) Dale clears waivers
2) Dale's agent negotiates the deal
3) Dale signs
4) Dale storms into Donnie's office griping about his deal and demanding a trade

I doubt we're even to #3 yet, let alone 4.

I heard Dale watched the Pacers game last night and flew to Detroit and will sign with them instead

I wouldn't blame him. I'd hate him, but I wouldn't blame him.

Yeah I wouldn't blame him either, the Pacers are on a treadmill to nowhere.

I think you skipped a few steps:

3a) Fans are excited about having Dale back
3b) After a few games, Pacers and Fans realize Dale can't play anymore
3c) Dale moves to the end of the bench, playing behind Pollard and Harrison

To make room for the signing of Davis, the Pacers also Friday waived forward Michael Curry. :applaud:
