Its Al Albert ;) What was it he said? I may have missed that.

He said that the way Reggie played in the first half, it was as if he was already retired. Just thought it was a pretty insensitive thing for a team announcer to say, especially at this time.

ReggieMiller8325
02-11-2005, 09:34 PM
reggie miller is having a great defensive game with 3 steals.

Why does it happen the starters come back in, we blow it. I don't get it. The reserves brought them back and the starters reward that with less effort? Go figure.

I'm listening on Audio pass and it seems we've stopped doing hustle things since JO came back in?!???

Glad the site is back up by the way.

Shade
02-11-2005, 10:21 PM
Our offense has gone stagnant. No ball movement at all, everyone standing around, nobody cutting or moving, and it results in bad jumpers with no rebounders in position.

I'd ride with this the rest of the way:

Harrison
JO
SJax
Freddie
Gill

I hope he can hit a 6-pointer...

waterjater
02-11-2005, 10:22 PM
The Pacers went on their 20-5 run when Houston went to Tracy on the block to go one on one and he kept missing....sounds familiar with what we do with the lead.....force feed O'Neal with no rebounding support.!!

Put the 2nd team Back IN!!

ReggieMiller8325

Why does this ALWAYS HAPPEN?!?! Our team is always at its best with ball movement...yet no-one ever figures this out? (:

26 seconds we need miller in this moment.

Jermaniac
02-11-2005, 10:25 PM
Its over, Rick runs WAY to many plays for Jermaine. JO shoots more damn jumpers then our starting SG and SF shoot combined.

j.o been ballhoging 7-22 from the field pass dose he know the meaning. Do you know Rick Carlisle calls those plays for him. Do you know that Rick Carlisle took the guys who got us back in this damn game out and put Jack and JO in the game? We should have stayed with the damn line up that got us back in it I knew as soon as Jermaine and Jack came in that this game is over.

ReggieMiller8325

Shade
02-11-2005, 10:30 PM
We missed our last 12 shots of the game.

This team just abandons the "team" aspect of the game on offense when it gets close. I like JO, but he needs to learn to lean on his teammates more. He's not Garnett in Minnesota here.

ReggieMiller8325
02-11-2005, 10:30 PM

Jermaniac

I was thinking the same thing...

I was also thinking the same thing when we let Charlotte back in the game.
We're killing our own momentum.

I thought Harrison's contributions were a bit overlooked in the second half (he was being a center and making space inside).

But I question Carlisle's insistence on sticking with his rotations and going by the clock more than the situation on the court.

...Square pegs into round holes...

-Bball Yup I have always said I hate Ricks rotations and you can tell when someone is going out and when they are coming back in. For example Jermaine goes out at the end of the first qtr with about 2 minutes left and comes back in with 8 minutes left in the 2nd. He plans who is going to come in and when they are going to come in. It kills our momentum all the time and thats why we cant ever keep a big lead.
