Thanks, Hicks. As we get close to the playoffs I hope to add some other features to the initial post and other things during the game thread, just haven't had time lately.

Jordan played good as a player for them, it's just his team that wasn't good.

Hopefully Bender gets some minutes tonight and steps up.

Haha Rick's a straight shooter, no bull*hittin.

I'm looking forward to a good blow out with AL scoring 30, JO getting 20/15

zxc

Sucks getting other teams feed with league pass.

Blowout would be very nice.. got a feeling it is gonna be a close one though.

Nice start for JO with the jumper. Gotta show Kwame up after that last game.

Big Smooth
02-20-2004, 08:16 PM
Great start. The P's looked very focused right now. Nice to them running and getting some easy buckets.

PaceBalls

When Reggie sets the tone like that at the get-go Pacers win every time.

PaceBalls
02-20-2004, 08:19 PM
Reggie with 2 steals so far, did he decide he is taking over for Ron on D?

zxc
02-20-2004, 08:22 PM
Al not looking very sharp again.

10-3 run for the Wiz. Don't like the way we are playing really =\

zxc
02-20-2004, 08:25 PM
By the way, did Ron get put on the injured list yet? Haven't seen anything. And if so, who was activated?

Shade
02-20-2004, 08:26 PM
Pollard, Bender, and AJ are in.

Bender for 3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

I'm VERY optimistic about what I've seen from our bench so far. Our defense is also still very good, as displayed by Washington's two shot clock violations. Stackhouse may go nuts w/o Artest, but so far, so good. :pimp:

where'd JO go?

MSA2CF
02-20-2004, 08:44 PM
Wouldn't it be incredibly weird if Al flunks as a starter and Bender excels as the 6th man? Then when Ronnie comes back, Al is put in his place and then we have 2 6th men!!! The bad thing is is that Al would have to be doing bad for that to come true.

To tell the truth, I'm REALLY GLAD the "experts" are counting us out. It's much easier to be the underdog. :D

I wish we had someone better at handling those end of the quarter situations. Ball in the hand of Tinsley, he rarely gets something done there.

Pretty good first half, but Washington kind of hanging around still =\ Shooting 65% pacers are, seems like we should lead by more.

This just goes to show why Detroit or New Jersey is going to win the east. We can't even compete with the Wizards while shooting above 50%.

There's a problem with the team whether we like it or not.

Why are we not scoring, what happened in the break ? we were UP by 13 ?

And please don't blame the refs, no way they can do that alone.

Jo's stopped scring int he second half, Al; never got started, where did JB go ?
and when did it happen

This win can make us happy for several reasons:

Reggie is there when we need him , NOW
Jamaal, just raised his game by more then a few notches, WTG
JB few minutes, high produce, promise (again?)

large lead, large hole, still a win, tehy got what it takes.

 AARGHH!!! Shut up! Just enjoy the "W"!!! And maybe it seems most Pacers games are like struggles, but we get the wins awfully often and that is great quality too, besides we are not the sort of team that will always have big scoring superiority over (most) other teams, because of the way that we play (which I btw like).

9 out of 10 times when I hear a comment from you during a game its negative/pessimistic. I'm personally getting a little tired of it. Offcourse, you dont have to be mr "nothing EVER is wrong", but you are sounding more like the opposite.

Okay, I'm new to this forum but those of you who frequen the Star forum know me. It's on the blink tonight and I desperately needed to vent to someone when the Pacers were blowing it in the second half.

By the time I got registered and logged in we had gone and won the thing.

The W is much better than a L, but I am seriously worried about this team right now. This was the Wizards and we had to scrap for our lives.

Rick needs to figure out what it is with the group of guys that can't perform up the their pre-All-Star-Game level after the All-Star Game. I think he can do it, but we're not going to beat good teams playing like we did tonight. Well.... if we can play like we did the first four minutes tonight maybe.

:welcome: Haven't seen you in a while.
