25-19 Denver after first quarter. They're getting whatever they want inside. They had at least 4 dunks in the first quarter. Both Jones' hit a 3. Tinsley's still sick and Jermaine is being a ball hog so far.

I think we're going to be OK. If not tonight, then in the near future. Tinsley is starting to look better, I'd say he's at about 70% tonight. And even at 70%, he's showing that even with Jackson back he's going to be looking to score his fair share of points, which is a good thing in my book. Once he shakes off the illness and gets back to 100%, and right about then Jackson should have the rust shaken off, I think we'll start to look decent.

Yeah, and from watching tonight's game, it looks like they are trying to take some of the load off of JO. Which is a good thing.

Anyone who only looks at the boxscore without having watched the game is going to think we shot a lot worse than we really did because of that posession. There were like 4 tips that didn't go, adding another 4 FGAs with no more FGMs.

Ok now I am officialy pissed at Rick and I am going to have to question his in game management. When your team is on a run you dont *****ing pull your pg who just made a 3!!

What the h*ll was he thinking? He completely changed the momentum of the game with that boneheaded move.

JO having the least number of shots of all players is outright nonsense.

Well, there's a balanced offense tonight...

I'm not sure about Tinsley taking more shots than anyone on the team, but he's got 8 assists after 3, so it can't be too bad.

JO's been looking to nail someone in the head with the ball like that for 3 long years.... :D

Hicks
01-29-2005, 11:04 PM
This reminds me of the New Castle game I went to last night vs Muncie Central. They got as many shots to go that we didn't, even though they were the same type of shots on both sides. Frustrating we can't just catch a break.

Bad call then Tinsley threw the ball to a different reff than the one who I quess wanted the ball so they ejected him because they blew a call.

That doesn't really help my suffering. I don't care about stats, I care about winning. But, I guess there were good things in the 10 assists because the offense was way more balanced. And it wasn't just going down to JO every time in the paint.

Right now we need a Bulls loss to make me happy. The score in Chicago is currently
:celtics:80

We lost this one on coaching plain and simple. Had Rick not taken Tinsley out right after he hit that three giving the Pacers their first real lead we would not have lost the momentum imediatly. That was IMO the biggest mistake Rick has made all year.

Hey even good coaches make bad decisions. I am not in any way calling for Ricks head but I am calling it like I see it. We need to get back on track within the next couple of games or things or going to unravel completely.

Things have already gotten worse. I agree we need to put together a nice loooonnnng win streak, but with what I have seen the past 4 games there is nothing that has told me we could do that. Hopefully, Hicks is right and most of the problems have been because of Tinsley being sick and all the other injuries. We need to get healthy.

Yeah, that game was a pretty fun game to watch in the end. I don't think it matters about Detroit anymore, I don't think we will catch them. Well, now that I look at it, it is still possible to catch Detroit and win our division :o Thank God for the East
