Foster will start not Polly, in fact it is unlikely Polly will play at all :) (poor sod)

Also notable: This will most likely be the last game JJ gets to start, so here's hoping he makes it memorable

Looks like Foster did start at center tonight...

01-22-2005, 09:14 PM

01-22-2005, 10:17 PM
Looks like its the JO/JT show again. JO/JT 25 shots. Rest of team with no other player taking more than 4 shots. Only four players have scored. But JJ contributing with 8 boards. Tins solid again 11 pts, 6 rebs, 2 asts, 1 block and 1 TO.

Unfortunatly not getting the game on TV tonight, so CBSSportsline is painting the picture for me. Shooting not so good, but I figured with last nights game that would probably happen. Hustle stats look good...reb, asts, blocks. FT shooting is hot again.

Hopefully we can pull away and get this game in the second half.

The shot the Wizards made to end the half (Which shouldn't have counted) beat us.

01-22-2005, 11:33 PM

We got robbed because of bad officiating at the very end of the first half.

We got robbed because of bad officiating at the very end of the first half.
Yeah, we did. The officials were bad even if that didn't happen though. A whistle was blown every 5 seconds.

01-22-2005, 11:50 PM
Yeah, but it still sucks to loose. I hope when Stephen comes back we will be able to start pulling streaks out of asses ... preferably WINNING streaks if that's not a problem ;). Screw this inconsistency, the suspensions, etc. I'm not counting on anything, really, since that Detroit debacle, so every win is taken with a lot of happiness here, whether it's an ugly win or not, I don't care. But, after SJax first week back into the game I want to see improvement and winningstreaks.

Mourning

Man, blaming the officiating gets old.

We got away with as much stuff as they did (moving picks much?)
We all have our excuses

I normally hate watching the the others teams broadcast (I think I have figured out NBA League Pass's pattern, they roate home/awa braodcasty every game)

but I was able to see the Pacers get away with a lot of stuff.

Now I am by no means saying the officiating was good. I dont really know about that play, that was a close call (the end of the half) but all in all I thought the refs sucked.

It just really irks me when people blame the refs. Just like in life you have many obstacles to overcome if you want to be a success, in basketball you have many, and you have to treat "bad calls" as one of those obstacles. The good times are able to but that stuff behind them and still win the game(s)

/end lecture
Yeah, we both got away with stuff. But, I just don't think the shot to end the half should have counted.

Box Score Stats (http://scores.nba.com/games/20050122/WASIND/boxscoreprint.html)

Sorry I wasn't around to finish the game last night guys. Now on top of the disappointment of the Pacers loss I've got to psyche myself up for shoveling out of about 20-30 inches of snow from my driveway now that the blizzard is about over...:grumble:
