Can we please this year upgrade our predictions each round? Last year we didn't, and it butched most of our picks after the first round. So why not predict now, then the 2nd, then 3rd, the superbowl? We can still accurately give props to those who predicted the most things correct, and by how early on they nailed all picks.

If the Chargers could get to and beat the Steelers then IF the Colts could win their 2 games that puts the AFC Championship game in the RCA Dome, correct?

Hmmmm Chargers beating the Steelers??? ......

Don't remind me of the Chargers beating the Steelers in Three Rivers.

AFC Championship Game: 11 years ago, this month.

THREE MORE YARDS!! As Bill Cowher's daughter told him during the drive home from the game, "you should've given the ball to Barry Foster down there on the goal line."

AFC:
Chargers over Jets

Indy over Denver

Steelers over Chargers

Patriots over Colts (its so sad, this is a very special Colts team and if the game was in the Dome I believe we would win.)

Patriots over Steelers (Oh how I hate the Pats, especially McGinest and Harrison, but unfortunately they will out last the Steelers with mental toughness, or cheating.)

NFC:
Packers over Vikings (Vikings have always been an imitation of a football team, when the going gets tough, they do not get going.)

Rams over Seahawks

Eagles over Packers (even without Owens the Pack can still not stop the Eagles)

Falcons over Rams (I could be wrong about this, I just do not trust Vick to lead a team)

Eagles over Falcons (Falcons won't be able to handle the pressure)

SuperBowl

Pats over Eagles (I hate the Pats but I'm in a no win situation as I really do not want Owens to get a ring and I still hold a grudge against McNabb after the Rush Limbaugh incident)

What was the Question?

# Team W-L Opponents' W-L %

28X San Diego 12-4 .477
29X Indianapolis 12-4 .500
30X New England 14-2 .492
31X Philadelphia 13-3 .453
32X Pittsburgh 15-1 .484

Based on Strentgh of opponents, I would say that the Chargers and Steelers are pretty evenly matched. Of course Pitt does have a better record. But I had to pick 1 upset.

ChicagoJ

Yeah, because back-to-back blowout victories over NE and Philly proved the Steelers are really a fluke?

Warning: Homer picks coming up!!!

Chargers over Jets
Colts over Broncos

Chargers over Steelers (Sorry Jay)
Colts over Pats (They have to beat them one of these days... how about now?)

Why those picks? Because the San Diego vs Colts game earlier this season was the kind of game where you got the feeling the game still had more to be played.

The Dome would be rocking for that game and so I pick Colts.

I don't think the Colts can beat both the Pats and Steelers on the road in consecutive weeks... at least I have serious doubts. It is possible, but I think SD pulling the upset is more likely and could be key to the Colts' Super Bowl Ambitions.

NFC
Don't care....

Colts over NFC team.
