Glad to have a game to watch again. All star break.. bah. Gonna be tough tonight, would suck to start off the second half with a L hope Pacers are ready to play.

Man, I hate how NBA.COM is lagging behind this much..

They haven't even started the game yet..

able

definitely not impressed by Al atm.

of course in the end the TO goes to Tins but Al fumbled that ball

Got in Fosters face after Foster was called for a foul on a rebound.

Slow start offensively.. 9-7 NO timeout Pacers.

zxc

how has tinsley taken 6 shots, while JO has only 1? And al has only 1 shot...

Don't know. 3 of those were on one possesion for Tinsley though inside. Other three were wide open threes. Definitely not getting much ball movement on offense though.

zxc
02-17-2004, 08:23 PM
Foster gets his second foul. Too bad was playing well.. Artest and Jones checking in.

My man Freddie Jones, the dunking man, Indiana Jones, is in the game!!! (though he doesn't do well against the Hornets...)

who got a tech and why??

zxc
02-17-2004, 08:26 PM
Carlisle did.. thought Al got fouled.

In the penalty now, good news since Pacers can't seem to score any other way.

Offensive rebounds killing us again. Bad 1st quarter here :(

Hicks
02-17-2004, 08:35 PM
Sloppy. :(

Probably just rust, though.

I bet we win this game.

able
02-17-2004, 08:35 PM
leaguepass is certainly worth it, you have the live game-radio every game, darned good.
espn got to www,espn.com select nba, selec live game select gamecast :)

:stupid:

Suaveness
02-17-2004, 08:36 PM
ESPN, yahoo, and nba.com all have gamecasts...if you go to place where the scores are, there will be a gamecast link...it provides scores, and any stats plus play by play....i suggest yahoo

and sorry if that was sarcasm....im a little slow on that :D

02-17-2004, 08:41 PM
Score? Yahoo stuck at 2:45 left in the 1st.

Suaveness

What's going on? Nothing is updating on any site...score?

able
02-17-2004, 08:41 PM
naw, no sarcasm, i had no idea on that many :) just use what i found one time :)

anywayz we stink.

Al starting was not a good idea (tm) but alas. I am sure we will pick it up, but 33% shootin (was 21) is not good.

JO is not rebounding, time he starts doing that, Fred needs to assert some authority.

NO is obviously in here for a "hard" game lot of rough contact and as usual they get away with it.

:stupid:

Hicks
02-17-2004, 08:42 PM
Good D by Pollard, but to no avail. :(

zxc

Score is NO 29 IN 22 w/ 11:01 as Pollard fouls Traylor (his 2nd) who goes to the line.

Misses the first, hits the 2nd.

30-22

Timeout after the Mashburn jumpshot. 32-22 Hornets.

OK, if we play this sloppy the whole game, we'll lose.

But if we get over it after half-time, we still can easily win.

Suaveness
02-17-2004, 08:46 PM
well well...it caught up....we need to play some D here, and start scoring...

zxc
02-17-2004, 08:46 PM
Think we gotta get over it before half time. Don't wanna be down 20+ at half which is possible with how poorly Pacers are looking on offense right now.

able
02-17-2004, 08:48 PM
time to take AJ out again, it's a mess (sic)

well we were consistent with Ron, but it build us a hill to climb.

will take some time to get into the groove.

AJ turns it over like it's Xmas.

JO back. time to get to work.

good shot Cro :D

:stupid:

Cactus Jax
02-17-2004, 08:49 PM
Hornets are just firing them in now.

Horrible shot by Ronnie.

zxc
02-17-2004, 08:49 PM
How many full court passes have they had on us so far?

Down 16. Getting killed right now.

Why do we look so sloppy after the break and they look so good? =\

able
02-17-2004, 08:50 PM
time to make some changes, get some starters back, get AJ out!

and get someone to TELL JO to start bloody taking control of the glass!

Hicks
02-17-2004, 08:50 PM
42-26 Hornets. Timeout Pacers.

We just don't have our heads on straight yet.

It's frustrating, but I'm really not angry. Just need to get it together.

Oh, and NO is shooting very well.

that's basically all there is to it: We haven't returned from vacation yet, wheras NO was hungry for this game big time and are acting like it's the playoffs.

Suaveness
02-17-2004, 08:51 PM
I think Kenny would be ideal in this situation...

Hicks
02-17-2004, 08:52 PM
Our defense is just BAD right now.

Hicks
02-17-2004, 08:53 PM
Damn that's the 2nd shot from Reggie that shook its way out of the rim.

zxc
02-17-2004, 08:53 PM
Not much that isn't bad right now.

Suaveness
02-17-2004, 08:53 PM
Hey someone remind me...aren't we supposed to have some sort of MVP candidate on this team? I think JO has been forgotten here....

Hicks
02-17-2004, 08:54 PM
Since the timeout, our intensity has picked up noticably. :)

able
02-17-2004, 08:55 PM
Tins taking things over, good thought!

even JO starts defense now :)

what a difference a PG makes :D

:stupid:

zxc

Intensity picked up but we aren't gaining any ground if D is gonna give them stuff like that. :(

zxc
02-17-2004, 08:57 PM
Armstrong just walks into Tinsley and its an offensive foul? =\

able
02-17-2004, 08:57 PM
Reg on Davis is not a good idea ( i think) the remainder of the team plays defense, weak links are Reg and Al.

:stupid:

Hicks
02-17-2004, 08:57 PM
Armstrong wasn't set AT ALL but gets the charge call. :unimpressed:

2nd foul on Tinsley on the other end now.

zxc
02-17-2004, 08:59 PM
Reggie finally hits one. Lead down to 9. Be nice to keep it under 10 going into the half.

Hicks
02-17-2004, 08:59 PM
Defense has gotten a lot better (still not where it has been), and Reggie finally drills a 3 to make it 48-39. :)

Nice Al. Hope that gets him going, and the team. Gets it under double digits too. Needed that.

Suaveness
02-17-2004, 09:11 PM
Hahaha....Al from midcourt...well that helps...

But we better start playing D in the second half

53 is tooooo much

Hicks

53-45 Hornets at half.

Considering how **** poor we were 80% of that half, I'll take it.

Another offensive rebound off the bat for them..

And an airball leading to a fast break on the other end. Right back down 12 :(

zxc
02-17-2004, 09:29 PM
Reggie 1-7, Artest 0-5.. not gonna get it done.

we are 3-14 from 3....anyone tell these guys that we are NOT a jump shooting team?....

able
02-17-2004, 09:30 PM
I am getting sick and tired of Al Harrington, only decent thing he did tonight was a ridiculously lucky mid court shot.

BENCH HIM!

those shots in the 3d to start were "ill advised" and on defense he has not even been on the court!

Just wish Rick was less stubborn and acted no things like that.

:stupid:

Suaveness
02-17-2004, 09:31 PM

Just keep chucking those threes Tinsley, will give em some more fast breaks :unimpressed:

Suaveness
02-17-2004, 09:33 PM
someone tell tinsley he's NOT reggie miller....oh wait, they're both 1-5 from 3.... :unimpressed:

zxc

Lead up to 16 now. I don't think we are gonna be turning it around tonight :(

efx
02-17-2004, 09:35 PM
They way everyone but JO is shooting I have to agree. Chalk up a loss.

Hicks
02-17-2004, 09:35 PM
Just keep chucking those threes Tinsley, will give em some more fast breaks :unimpressed:

He's allowed to shoot those. He's open. Rick's always encouraged taking open shots, and those are the same ones he was hitting before the break.

Suaveness
02-17-2004, 09:35 PM
WE NEED TO STOP TAKING ****ING JUMP SHOTS AND 3 POINTERS....WE HAVE SOMEONE NAMED JERMAINE O'NEAL, WHO JUST HAPPENS TO BE A PRETTY GOOD PLAYER, APPARENTLY. DAMMIT.

zxc
02-17-2004, 09:36 PM
Reggie hits once again.. need more of that.

Mashburn on fire. Starting Al hurt us tonight =\

able
02-17-2004, 09:37 PM
if no one but JO is moving, can someone tell Tins where to send the ball ?

Al is not doing anything except shooting and looking the shots not fall, but undoubtedly he is confident they fall so no need to go for a rebound

Only player moving is Reg, who misses to, and JO who is constantly double teamed, Tins has no choice but shoot.

:stupid:

zxc
02-17-2004, 09:38 PM
Tinsley has plenty of choices rather than shooting threes. They haven't been at the end of the shotclock or anything. Drive the ball if noone is open, have to do something else when your shot is off.

zxc
02-17-2004, 09:40 PM
Two trips to the line for ron in 10 second period.. 1 point for Pacers. NO walks down and gets a dunk.

18 point lead as they convert off another offensive rebound. Pacers just totally outclassed tonight. Don't know how we can use the break as an excuse, they were off too =\

Suaveness
02-17-2004, 09:41 PM
This is horrendous. Simply pathetic.

able
02-17-2004, 09:44 PM
let's face it, Cro ? anyone hear or see him do anything since he came in?
Rons and Reg miss just as much if not more then Tins, AJ simply turnover prone tonight, the only player performing something offensively is JO, on defense no one is available, they are ALL still on vacation. ok perhaps JO is the only exception somewhat, but rebounding is something we are not thinking of tonight. rebounds? 38 - 24 !

:stupid:

MarionDeputy
02-17-2004, 09:46 PM
Not looking good - too bad- until they win after the all-star break there is going to be a boatload of naysayers talking about last year....maybe they'll surpise us.....Plenty of time left but its got to start NOW!

zxc

shooting stats are shamefull for the P's
AJ is turning the ball over more then pitching machine, Ron 0-6 Reg 2-9 Al 3- 10 Tins 4 - 12

they are outrebounding us by 44 - 29. and out "fouling" us by 21 - 14

those stats say something, great homecoming from the all star break.

might as well give JB Al's minutes, no way he can do worse with them, and while at it, give Kenny AJ's minutes.

:stupid:

Hicks
02-17-2004, 09:56 PM
Ron goes to the line, hits the 1st, misses the 2nd and LEAPS for the O rebound and puts it in!

Hicks
02-17-2004, 09:57 PM
GOD DAMNIT! :pissed:

We force that shot at the end of the shotclock, but they just barely get a hand on it, and then they call a questionable foul on Pollard, and of course they score on the 2nd chance.

zxc
02-17-2004, 09:57 PM
