Is there a major category he's NOT top 10 in?
And he wears 31 in honor or Reggie :D

Shawn Marion was the only guy I would trade for Artest out of all the rumors this summer.

Shawn Marion is overrated. He's never been out of the 1st round, and that's if his Sun's even make the playoffs. Good stats, (usualy) bad teams, overrated player.

Does Marion really wear 31 for honoring Reggie Miller, or is it b.s.?

That doesn't automatically make guys overrated. There are lots of examples of guys who've switched teams and become winners after putting up good numbers on bad teams. Artest is a prime example.

But believe me, if Phoenix were to trade you the Matrix for the Madd Hatter, you'd forget about Artest in very short order.

And the thing is, I still like Bender a lot.

And if it's any consolation, Larry Bird said in his book we wanted Lamar Odom, and would have taken him if the Clippers hadn't.

I don't know about everyone else, but I wasn't happy that we had drafted a high-schooler for a second year in a row. Al turned out to be a good player, but it took time. I don't see Mr. Weak Knees doing much anytime soon, and he's had plenty of time to develope, despite various "injuries."

Which brings up the question. When will he get up off his *** and actually play?I thought I heard end of December. Its the 25 now........

Nope, I wasn't either. But that was the trend, and still is. Go for a "maybe" superstar than the sure star.
The GOOD part is we learned our lesson right there and stopped that behavior. Other teams are still practicing such tactics.
Letting college big men like David Harrison drop to us at 28 (or whatever pick).
Wasn't ALL bad.
And Bender will still be very good. Maybe this year. :)

That was a nice draft. I'd rather have Kirilenko than Marion. Could you imagine an Artest/Kirilenko/O'Neal defensive trio? Artest would defend the perimeter, AK47 would defend the middle, and O'Neal would defend the post. A triple-layer of defensive stoppers, teams would be lucky to score 50 on us.

GO!!!!!

AK-47.... now that would be a nice Team Mate... but I'll Settle for the Matrix too..

Amen to Foster Lite, O'neal, Ak-47, Mad RonRon, TinMan

that'd be a team and a half
