Who gets cut? Curry, Haislip, or Edwards?

It won't be Curry.

It won't be Curry, and they seem to have a fetish for Succubus, so I say Haislip.

It should be Curry.... the guy is flatout old.

Well it depends on the contract he got :D

Edwards is signed through to Jan 15 or close, he HAS to be cut before then or he will receive a salary for the whole year, my guess is that it us Edwards, unless they have seen enough of Haislip, but IMO in the "talent" column, Haislip is a better bet.

In the "brains" section however......

Uh, let's take a better look at these 3, shall we?

Marcus Haislip: Great Athelete, poor offense, poor defense, young.
John Edwards: He's big and tall, good shot blocker in college, past that, poor offense, poor defense, young.
Michael Curry: Veteran NBA player, poor offense, very good defense, helps team D by promoting chatter on the court, is essentially a coach on the floor, a great lockeroom presence/leader, and is Carlisle and O'Neill's pet.

Haislip and Edwards will both be gone before Curry is, and rightfully so.

that is a fact, unless Marcus sees the light, in which case he will be the light of the coming years, but somehow I doubt that, so much talent, what a waste.

They won't cut Curry. They should cut both Edwards and Haislip and donate one of their salaries to the "Ron Artest Still Has Mortgage Payments" foundation.

We still only have 15 eligable players. I think John Edwards pulled a glut muscle sitting on the bench.

Look for him or Haislip to go on injured reserve.

Uh is this even a matter of debate? Edwards couldn't even get on the floor when we had a 7-player roster. With J.O. and Foster back, plus Harrison and soon Pollard (hopefully), Edwards is toast. Sionara.

Do we really? I don't think we'll have 16 until Jax comes back... when he does we cut Edwards and it looks like this:

Foster / Harrison / Pollard
JO / Croshere / Haislip
Jax / Bender / Curry
Miller / F.Jones / J.Jones
Tinsley / AJ / Gill

Plus Artest suspended for the year. Am I forgetting anyone?

It is 16 players, but I'm not sure why we would have to cut one. I thought the fact that we were allowed to sign players to sub for the suspended players meant that we could keep 15 plus Artest.

We were at 16 before Jermaine was allowed to return.

Artest and SJackson are still ineligable so they don't count yet.

We have 12 active and 3 spots on injured resreve available. I still think Edwards will come up with injury either now or when Pollard is activated.

Until Sjax comes back I believe we can keep all current players statching one or two on injured reserve.

I'm confused. Take a look at my list... who am I missing?

By my count...

Tinsley/Johnson/Gill
Miller/Fred
James/Curry/Bender
O'Neal/Croshere/Haislip
Foster/Harrison/Pollard/Edwards

That makes 15. No one has to be cut until Jackson is back on the 26th.

That's what I get, as well. When Jax comes back, we cut Edwards. With Artest out, we can keep Curry and Haislip all year.

I'm listening to Rat's recording of Carlisle's show, and he says someone will be cut, unless there's a legitimate injured player to put on IR. He said it's gonna be either Edwards or Haislip.

Now, I suggest we all kneel and pray it's the senator from NC.

It is this thread. Certainly worth listening, even though they beat the Tinsley meltdowns to death
