It's now basically Rose for Pollard.

I still think we got the better end of the deal. :p

Rose for a pile of garbage is still a good trade.

Yes, let's take another look at that trade.
Jalen, Travis, Norm for Brad, Ron, Ron, and Kevin. Great trade.
I don't believe in amalgamizing trades together like that. We made the above trade as stated. It was a great trade. Everything after was its own seperate story.

I never wanted Jalen to leave.
Jalen for Brad and Oakley - I could have lived with that.
But Mercer and Artest, I could've done without those two guys.

Who cares? It's over. It's like hanging on to Dale Davis too long. Jalen is gone, deal with it.

Yeah, I agree with geezer. Plus there was absolutely no way the Pacers could afford both Jalen Rose's salary and Jermaine's at the same time. Jalen had to go, even if it was for a bag of dog food.

Oh I know, I was just playing 'devil's advocate'.
Even with unloading Jalen's bloated contract (and I liked Jalen better at 'the right price'), we still couldn't afford to keep Brad. :banghead: (Insert your own opinions of the extensions for Foster, Bender and Artest here.)

I'm not sure this is a road anyone wants to go down.

And a big "WHAT IF" to everyone!!!

 Sorry guys, I guess I'm exceptionally argumentative today.

Any trade that gets rid of Travis Best is a good trade. I dont care if you traded him for Jay Williams after the motorcycle accident it would be a good trade.

yeah, but he was leaving at the end of the season anyway.
I was glad to get rid of him a few months earlier, but it *didn't* have to be part of that trade.
