View Full Version : First Round Playoff Matchup

This is all just for fun for now, but lets assume the Pacers stand pat and get the 2 seed in the East. The Heat get the 1 seed, the Bucks get the 8 seed. Who would you like to see get the 7 seed and play the Pacers in the first round?

Detroit ideally. Realistically I think we should beat any of the teams that could end up at 7. It shouldn't matter, not if we are good enough to go toe to toe with the Heat

I want a 1st round bye ideally.

It's always a pleasure beating the Knicks.
Getting revenge on Chicago for their eliminating us two years ago would be nice.
It would be fun to be the team that gets to finish off whatever's left of the Celtics.
Putting the Nets' overpaid roster down while Jay Z watches on would be fun. Maybe Jay Z could be the Spike Lee to Paul's Reggie?
The Hawks... Zzz...

If I could choose, I'd probably take the Nets, just because I think they're extremely beatable and the series would likely be one of the features series of the 1st round.

I would like to play the Knicks because they have a very porous defense. I think we'll get the Hawks though

I picked Boston because they are the worst team. I want the Pacers to play the easiest games possible for as long as possible.

 Here's to Miami getting upset in round 2.

I think we will get the Hawks, but I voted for the Celtics. The Hawks scare me a little bit.

Hmm, i am the other way around. Hope to get the Hawks, but think we will get the Celtics. Either way we should win the series. Another thing I hope happens is I hope Chicago is the 4 or 5 seed and have D.Rose back. They can give the Heat a series if that happens!

Boston scares the crap out of me. I'll take the Hawks even though we've struggled with them in the past.

Don't care.

Don't care.

Same. Let's see who falls into place. We can take them.

I'm really shocked so many people have voted Boston. They always own us whenever we play, and I think we match up the worst against them.

I don't understand how Celtics don't scare people. They've played well without Rondo and Doc, Peirce and KG have so much playoff experience. We don't want anything to do with them in the 1st round.

Bring on the Hawks or Bucks

Celtics are scary. I like scary.

I just don't want to face Miami round 1 ;)

With that said, I think Boston is the weakest choice of the bunch, but I would be okay with a Chicago rematch. Either that or facing the Bucks if they can sneak up an appropriate spot or two :)

Hicks vs Knicks baby!

But in reality we will be playing the Hawks or the Celtics, which shouldn't go any longer than 6 games I would hope.

Boston can't defend wings. PG and Granger would be able to go nuts in that series. Gordon Hayward and Marvin Williams have a combined 37 points on 21 shots tonight, and last night Batum and Matthews had 42 on 25 shots.

Yikes. Would rather not play any of Brooklyn, Atlanta, and Boston. We've done well against pretty much every other team in the league.
