Looks like 70's-style baseball uni's with the tight sleeves and v-neck.

I like and having the sleeves could create a lot of cool designs. Plus I wouldn't have to look at dudes nasty pits any longer!

I don't love it, but I like that it's something different.

I just hope they don't sell them in gift shops. Fans do not need to be wearing those. Yikes.

Without the sleeves, the uniform would be legit.

No, it's in reply to those uniforms. There's freaking pinstripes on the shorts but not the top.

I'd rather wear one of those then no sleeves.

I noticed that and thought the background was playing tricks on me. My eyes didn't lie. I'm in the "no thank you" category.

Ignore the specifics of the design. Are you in favor of the sleeves?

I'm torn. I like that I can wear those as an adult. I'm too old for tank tops. However, they look like soccer jerseys. I hate that.

I'm a big fan of the t-shirt under the jersey for fans. Those shirts are way too tight for the normal person to be wearing, IMO.

I like the sleeves idea...

Although I wonder if the purpose is to add extra ad space for when they allow jersey ads (next year?)

Heisenberg
02-11-2013, 02:11 PM
No one's pointed out the obvious yet. Sleeves means more advertising space.

Hmmmm. I don't love it but I don't hate it either.

Well, I do kind of hate the pinstripes on the shorts only thing. But I'm neutral on the sleeves design wise. I personally don't care about visible tattoos but I am aware that covering some of them up would probably please a portion of the NBA fan base.

I like the look. Not sure if the players will like it or not, might mess up their shooting a little with the sleeves

Damn it, J7F and Heisenburg... You stole my thunder about all that room for advertising! Anywho, I don't really care for or like the sleeves just like I don't really care for the advertising patches, but after looking at it I'll fall right in line with accepting it!

It looks to be the same material as the sleeves players currently wear...

I've got one... It doesn't affect your range of motion in any way...

why would it mess up the shooting? I know when I practiced I always wore long sleeves, and it wasn't any different then in a game when you are in a tank top. I can't imagine it hurting the shooting I mean most of the guys practice with sleeves. Lance is the only Pacer who practices with compression shirts not sleeves.

I really don't hate the look, but when Viagra is branded on the jerseys I will hate it.

I wouldn't mind it if the ads were for Gatorade or something, but it's going to be some car company or Viagra/Cialis

interesting...

gotta see them on the whole team on the court

definitely looks like a soccer jersey, or the college players that wear shirts under their jerseys

pinstripes on the shorts only is dumb

Well maybe old players, but they cut off the sleeves. Literally cut them off. Their jerseys look like a t-shirt with the sleeves cut off.

For anyone that's ever played basketball in sleeves....this is pretty stupid.

There is nothing more annoying to a shooter than sleeves.

the sleeves are not what offends the most

1) pinstripe shorts / non pinstripe top
2) two different shades of gold
3) neckline looks bizarre

Those are absolutely hideous. Just the fact that they are so awful reminds me of these eyesores:

Go with these

socks can be blue and gold, shorts gold, shirts blue, gold numbers on the back (in Roman numbers)

An now, for your Indiana Pacers, Paul George, number XXIV!

I would never buy or wear an NBA jersey...

...but I'm buying one of these puppies (Paul George) as soon as they roll them out for the Pacers next year.

Love these.
