Who do you think have been the worst or most dissapoiting high draft picks in recent years?

Right off the top of my head I can think of Jay Williams (Chicago), Mike Dunleavy Jr., Darko Milicic, and Micheal Olowakandi...those are a few that I can think of...

I'll bite.

Jay Williams was only a dissapointment in his decision to ride a giant racing motorcycle in the off-season. His play wasn't that bad, and he's a good guy.

If we're going to include off-court antics like his, I'll set myself up for harassment and say that the biggest dissapointment has been Carmello Anthony. He had a chance to show up Lebron (hard to do), but more and more it looks like he's going to show up in circuit court instead. I'm disappointed because it could have been a good East/West rivalry.

Michael Jordan's picks didn't work out so well... He picked Kwame, and hyped D.Miles. Not a good judge of talent.

Shawn Bradley. Having to watch him for a couple of seasons in Philly knowing that if the 76ers played it right in that draft they could have had Webber with the 2nd pick was pure agony.

I went to a Cavs game during that era and watched the 76ers lose by about 45 points and if I remember correctly at one point of that game they were down by about 56 points.

Referring to Darko, I don't think its fair to call a 19-year old a bust.......

Sharone Wright, Shawn Bradley, BJ Tyler (DD is going to love me for that :D ) Michael Olowakandi, Frederick Weiss (Rim is going to LOVE me for that) John Avery, Joe Forte, J.R. Rider, Ed O'Bannon, Todd Fuller, Trajan Langdon, the entire 2000 NBA draft

There are some decent players out of the 2000 draft

Q. What do Kenyon Martin, Jamaal Magloire, and Michael Redd have in common?

A. They are the only players from that draft that have played in one allstar game (all of them last season, I think).

Honestly, I have never even heard of at least half of the guys drafted that year.

yeah but you can't discount the entire draft. Primoz was also in there, and desmon mason.

i don't think it's time to put darko there yet. i think they were counting on him being a 4 or 5 year project. dirk nowitski didnt just come into the league and light it up either and larry brown isn't a good young players coach.

on the other side of things the 2003 draft is more and more looking like a true classic. lebron james and dwayne wade are both going to be (well already are really) absolute superstar nba players. of the highest order. maybe anthony too. and there's a lot of other good talent from the draft as well.
