I'm sure we'll here some good ones :)

War "Why Can't We be Friends"

No offense to Paul B, but I'll be paying more attention to the Pacemates in their Santa outfits during timeouts, as opposed to what music he's playing.

Fight the good fight - Triumph

War Machine - Kiss

Momma said Knock you out - LLcoolJ

You guys gotta understand how to get into their heads.....
Don't play the fight songs, they'll be expecting that. Instead play some love songs, make them think you're crazy. That will scare the hell out of them.
My suggestions:
"I'll Make Love To You" Boyz II Men
"I Will Always Love You" Whitney Houston
"Me So Horny" 2 Live Crew

Right before tip-off play "Kumbaya."

Pacers players try to hold hands with Pistons players, sway to the music ...

It would be so beautiful - I tear up just thinking about it. :D

I'd also suggest "I Love You, You Love Me" by Barney the Dinosaur.

Good one Doug.

My other suggestion would be "All You Need is Love." When it starts, all the Pacers try to give Ben Wallace a hug ...

Sunshine, Lollipops & Rainbows - Gore Lesley
Was that a command or is it Lesley Gore?

12-17-2004, 10:31 AM
Idiot Wind - Bob Dylan........In honor of Tom Wilson

12-17-2004, 10:40 AM
Complete silence might make a nice statement.

12-17-2004, 10:43 AM

I made a cut of the video of the fight that plays to "Why Can't We Be Friends" :D. Is that wrong? :D

Why not "(I'm still) Alive" - Pearl Jam.

"Join me in death" - HIM

"Everlasting Love" - Righteous Brothers

I fought the law (and the law won) .... The Clash version
She got the Goldmine (I got the shaft).....Jerry Reed

And by chance if Bill Walton is there something by the Grateful Dead. Its amazing he thinks Artest should be banished from basketball yet he admits he worshiped the dead. I guess that means ole Bill had no problems supporting users of drugs.

12-17-2004, 11:10 AM
Pantera - *****ing Hostile

12-17-2004, 11:11 AM
Lionel Richie - Endless Love

12-17-2004, 11:12 AM
Celine Dion - My Heart Will Go On

12-17-2004, 11:22 AM
If We Make Through December - Merle Haggard

(sorry, but Merle's 20 Greatest Hits is playing now)

I guess they might as well play Branded Man for Ron since they're already playing Merle during the game anyway......

Sorry, but I can't participate in this thread until Springsteen's "Santa Claus Is Comin' To Town" is mentioned. Cliche or not, it is MANDATORY.

12-17-2004, 11:32 AM
Santa Claus is Comin' to Town - Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band

Thank you.

Now I really like Peck's suggestion of "Mamma Said Knock You Out."

Didn't the mid-nineties Pacers run onto the court before the game to a rap tune called "The Main Event"? Outside of very old LL Cool J, and the Beastie Boys, I don't know a thing about rap music.

Every time BW enters the game or goes to the three throw line, I'd like the PA system to mock him with this Michael Jackson lullaby:

"Ben, the two of us need look no more
We both found what we were looking for
With a friend to call my own
I'll never be alone
And you, my friend, will see
You've got a friend in me
(you've got a friend in me)

Ben, you're always running here and there
You feel you're not wanted anywhere
If you ever look behind
And don't like what you find
There's one thing you should know
You've got a place to go
(you've got a place to go)

I used to say "I" and "me"
Now it's "us", now it's "we"
I used to say "I" and "me"
Now it's "us", now it's "we"
Ben, most people would turn you away
I don't listen to a word they say
They don't see you as I do
I wish they would try to
I'm sure they'd think again
If they had a friend like Ben
(a friend) Like Ben
(like Ben) Like Ben "

that tune while showing the 3's picture on the main screens :D

I made a cut of the video of the fight that plays to "Why Can't We Be Friends" :D. Is that wrong? :D

No, that isn't wrong. Now, if you have a Rodney King narration of "Can't we all just get along" in the background. That would be wrong.
