KINGS FORWARD CHRIS WEBBER

“Definitely it was a nice win. But I will say one thing right now, we respect the hell out of the Indiana Pacers. For them to be depleted the way they are and to be playing with that group of guys the way they are says a lot about what this organization is about. I was nervous, really nervous going into tonight’s game. Not only with all the guys they have suspended; but also the ones that are hurt like Pollard and Bender. I wouldn’t want to play them when Jermaine gets back."

As much trouble that Webber seems to get into, I've always kind of liked the guy's game mainly before the injuries. That's some classy things to say about more than just the players but the organization as well. I wonder how much of that was when he almost came to the Pacers as a free agent? I still think he would've if the Pacers had the money.

I have NEVER forgiven Chris Weber for calling Time-out.

I have NEVER forgiven Chris Weber for calling Time-out.

Forgive and move on.

There are a ton of things in that game that could have been done or executed better by UM.

And I'm a huge Wolverines fan.

Forgiven? I thought it was the best thing he ever did. He prevented Michigan from winning a title.

Those are some very complimentary comments by Webber.

By the way, even if UM had won the championship in '93, it would have been taken away a few years ago after the internal investigation.

I have NEVER forgiven Chris Weber for calling Time-out.

Don't forget, THAT PLAY NEVER HAPPENED. Not according to the NCAA, who wiped out all records from the Fab Five era. CBS or anyone else televising college basketball shouldn't be allowed to use it for promotional purposes.

I always though that, in a way, Webber was any Hindu's Exibit A for the existance of karma. How could a guy that good on TWO teams that good at TWO different levels never win anything? Well, maybe a crook and a cheater doesn't deserve to win anything.

But it was still a classy thing to say.

I hate Webber something fierce, but you've got to give the guy props. I think that's the best thing an opponent has said since the brawl.

Nice comments, but I still hate him. He can go back to Michigan and rot in hell for all I care.

I have to give him credit for saying this, and I think he is right on!! At least someone outside the Pacers believes that this will be a very difficult team to play once JO returns. I really expect to see a very focused and motivated Jermaine after these suspensions. JO has been the most unfairly treated in this case because his suspensions are so unprecedented considering he didn't leave the court.

Pacers will make the playoffs unless we have some unbelievable misfortune hit us.
