As Jay has said 7261293847 times, Pacer intros are simpler than church music. Apparently, it wouldnt be accepted in conservative Indiana :unimpressed:

I want Ronnie to commit the first flagrant foul in AS game history. That would be classic.

Natston

Why isn't the Pacer pre-game like this?

I too would love every Pacer game to take 79 hours. With at least 50 different musical interludes.

How much would it take to get a Grammy winning group for all 41 games?

zxc
02-15-2004, 08:43 PM
Well those intros sure took long enough. Now another 20 minutes for all the national anthems and the game will only be 10 minutes from tip off.

new shoes for Mr.Artest... :)

Of all people, it sounded like Magloire had the most points or so.

But no, no clear favorites. I bet some start to stand out late, though.

One came off an assist from Iverson.

Just imagine if that were real! :o

Iverson is making some pretty sweet passes in this game.

And is it just me, or is this year's game kind of "blah" vanilla? I remember being much more into last years' game. Maybe that was all from watching the 2OTs, but I think also I was more interested in seeing Brad and JO playing together.

This year, Ron's not stood out much, and they aren't exactly going to JO, so... *shrugs*

Hope we win.

zxc

Kind of entertaining. Some nice dunks and such. Davis and Redd hit a couple of deep 3s that impressive. It's hard to care about a game like this though, I just want to be entertained. Artest's shoes have been the best part of the game though. Only Ronnie.

MagicRat

New shoes for Ron....

zxc

Probably Martin or Magloire for MVP if east wins at this point.

Slowing it down... trying to draw fouls... forcing turnovers.... not being able to see every other play by dumbass cut-aways... what is this, a Pacers game?!?

Well they are around that 8th seed I think..

How about on the other side though? Don't remember hearing Cassel, Peja, or Dirks name among others at all tonight.

Kidd's FTs give the East the lead with 2:50 to go. :)

Peja's the only one to really gripe. The others got a good stint.

As for the Raptors, they might get in.

NY and Cleveland are trying to get in, but I believe there's room for 3.

ANOTHER missed Free Throw, though.

McGrady knows how to frickin' SCORE.

Damn Kobe.

McGrady with the miss.

Garnett misses.

East slowing it down.

Shaq fouls T-Mac.

Is there a team penalty in the all-star game?

Another miss for the East. That one could be killer now.

zxc
02-15-2004, 11:17 PM
Damn. Duncan just won the game. You know the east guards just gonna ballhog it and launch a shot in this situation.

So who's your go-to guy in this situation?

I have a sinking feeling though. Probably end up in a broken play with someone trying to go one-on-one and losing it, or something.

I hate you. For serious. :unimpressed:

A) Last year wasn't JO's fault

B) This year wasn't JO's fault

C) 4 points isn't dominance, nor were the I believe 4-5 points of last year.

Nerts. Missing 11 FT's in a PROFESSIONAL basketball game is awful. Man, when we were in JUNIOR HIGH we had to run five laps around the floor for every free throw the team missed. JUNIOR HIGH!

Better start runnining guys -- that's fifty-five laps! :P

Somebody give Ronnie a shoe contract immediately.

Well, here's one of the shoes, and by the way, we've been spelling his nickname wrong all along:

Well, I don't think we've been spelling it wrong. He may want to talk to his editors. What's he have to be wary of anyway?.........
