Anybody watching Detroit lose? I gotta say, I've had a great time watching Detroit lose. At the very worst, they don't gain any ground on us tonight. If we can keep this up for a little while, we could still make a play for winning our division.

Game's not starting well, though. Edwards starting? Yuck.

And who's this announcing team?

I think it's Mike Turico (sp?) and... well, I don't know who the other guy is yet.

The only positive about Edwards starting - I have Brad Miller on one of my fantasy league teams

A good passing and outside shooting team like the Kings will be tough for the Pacers to beat with their overplaying defense.

I'm sorry guys, but I can't watch this anymore. I feel like I'm watching the Kings run their offense against an 8th grade CYO team. How many layups and dunks can the Pacers give up.

I know many of you "loved" the style of play of the team since the suspensions, and it was inspiring for awhile. But "awhile" ended a few games ago.

I WANT THE OLD TEAM BACK.

If I have to watch Edwards for one more minute I am going to SCREAM

BostonConnection

It is pretty painful, UB, and unfortunately for me it's one of the few times I get to watch the Pacers play on TV.

And yeah, Edwards is pretty much useless. Can the Pacers bring Stuart Grey out of retirement? I think Stu would do better...

Unclebuck
12-04-2004, 12:49 AM
I will say that Haislip is a keeper. Not that he'll play any when the pacers are healthy, but he is better than Edwards, Johnsen or Fowlkes.

BostonConnection
12-04-2004, 12:52 AM
Haislip is definitely a live body out there. Has kind of a funny looking jump shot but I don't really want him shooting further than about 8 feet away too often anyway.

hoopsforlife
12-04-2004, 12:54 AM
Considering who the Pacers have on the depth chart right now, I think you guys are being a little hard on Edwards. I mean he's a rookie with a couple years of college experience thrown into the fire unprepared. This playing time will help him become better but right now I, personally, feel more sorry for him than anything. He's doing alright for the situation he has been put into.

He's in a game playing against two all star centers for crying out loud. He is going to look bad. Anybody would look bad against these two guys.

BostonConnection
12-04-2004, 12:58 AM
Well, to be fair Harrison is a rookie too, and I think a healthy Harrison would look a heck of a lot better than Edwards. But it's more frustration than anything else - I can't really fault Edwards for looking bad against Miller and Webber, but doesn't make me feel any better :(
