I hope he comes back, it looks similar to when West got hurt.

Hmm, it's actually tough for me to tell how bad it is. I mean I can't say it looks good, but it doesn't automatically scream acl and it honestly doesn't look bad enough to be a dislocation.

EDIT: Hmm, I've watched it a couple times, that actually looks like it is kind of similar to how my knee bent when I hurt it. A little different angle but similar thing. Everybody's body reacts differently hopefully Rush has a very strong, structurally well built knee, also hope he has good quad strength.

@RicBucher: No official report on Brandon Rush until MRI tomorrow, but it will be an anatomical miracle if he didn't blow a knee ligament.

Just sad he is playing so well and then I have to see that. I really feel bad for the guy. Rush is a tough SOB and he was in tears i would be shocked if it's not a season ender. Praying for a miracle hate seeing injuries like that.

Brandon tore up a knee after his junior year of college can't remember which one. Landing looked very bad.

Right one. In the illegal workouts with the Knicks. Only thing that happened was them getting fined 100k.

I always thought Brandon played like someone who tore his ACL and never recovered mentally from it. I wasn't shocked to find out he actually had torn it.

I'd be surprised if it wasn't an ACL. He even looks like he thinks it is. It's a shame too, I always really liked him.

Definitely wishing for the best. BRush was always one of my favorites.

@KCsFinest4: Thanks for all the prayers. I'll be alright

Pulling for BRush! Great guy, hard working player. Terrible to see that.

11-03-2012, 11:38 AM
I'm still a Rush fan, always will be. I hope he recovers. Without the two knee injuries the guy could have been really special. He'll still be a solid rotational player in the league for a long time because the dude can shoot.

Too bad for him (and the Warriors) because he had a good camp and was looking like the 6th man. Warriors really need his athleticism and defense, but it's not looking good for BR right now.

Dr. Awesome

Brandon Rush is one of my favorite players in the NBA, this really sucks to see. Praying for the best.

11-03-2012, 02:16 PM
Such a shame. He had a good year last year, the kind of thing you can build on. 50% from the field, 45.2% from three. He even brought his famously low free throw percentage up to almost 80%. Dude can shoot. Despite what a certain poster thinks. ;)

11-03-2012, 05:12 PM
It's a torn ACL and he will be out for the rest of the season.

He suffered a torn ACL in college also. Praying for a speedy and smooth recovery.

@KCsFinest4 Been thru this before. Just gonna make me a all around better player

Really bummed for Brandon. Hope he is able to make it back stronger than ever!

11-03-2012, 05:49 PM
sad. at least he has a contract now.

FU you stupid ACL.

Sucks, I really like Rush. Nothing to do know but hang tough and work his way back.
