ISL's Cliff Brunt writes that Danny Granger's injury might help the Pacers in the long run because it will give Paul George a chance to develop into the star the team has lacked.

Paul George's time is now (http://bit.ly/TUd0AE)

Also, in honor of Halloween, ISL's Chris Goff offers Part II of his season preview, looking back at how scary bad the Pacers were just a few years ago.

I wouldn't say that it's the best thing for the Pacers because they need Granger's shooting, but PG will show up

So cliffb28, why don't you just say "I wrote a story for a website instead of posting it in a way that makes it look like one person noticing another person's work? I haven't read it, so I don't know if it any good or not, but take credit for your work instead of going third-person on it.

Yeah "the best thing for the Pacers" is a little over-the-top. No matter how much growth we see from George this year, we aren't a better basketball team without Danny Granger. I get the point the author/OP is trying to make, but let's face it - that redwood tree full of money standing in front of Paul George isn't necessarily the best thing for the PACERS, its the best thing for Paul George.

Probably. Most people do like themselves. Maybe you had not noticed his screen name? cliffb28, to me, equals Cliff Brunt. It is not the first time he has posted something pointing out his writing on another site. Yes, you can read that as he is promoting his site.

Every single post of his refers people to his site. No contributions to PD at all. I'd say that is another form of trolling.

I haven't read the article, but I will comment on the thread title. It is no where near the best thing for the Pacers. Danny is still the veteran leader of this team, on and off the court. We need him. He is also still the leading scorer on this team.
That would be like saying we just got rid of Danny for good and it is the best thing for the Pacers. NO WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I tried to read the article, but I hate it when videos start playing automatically on web sites. I couldn't even get it turned off, so I had to close the page.
