I was wondering if there's anything planned for the home opener? I know there's a Gold Out, but is there going to be any live music or anything like there was a couple years ago? I ask because I'm coming from San Francisco, but I'm going to be in Indy for the game with my girlfriend (her first NBA game!) and was interested in what festivities are going to be happening. Also, who else is going to be there?

Not sure about the rest.

Mrs. RWB and I will be there. I believe we've been to every home opener since 86?

You should come to the PTO! We tailgate in the parking lots on South street. If you come, you will meet a bunch of PD people, as well as a good chunk of Area 55 (of which I am a member) and the G2 Zone. Much better than seing some third tier country singer.

My wife and I usually park over there and I see people tailgating, but I thought it was an A55 exclusive thing or something.... Is anyone allowed to stop by and say hi? :)

Nope. If you are not in Area 55 you can't tailgate.

We're not elitists. You're more than welcome to join.

Ordered my tickets off of stubhub last night, but the tickets I wanted were gone so I settled for a cheaper pair. The tickets I was going to buy were in the club level for 30 dollars a piece. I got balcony 3rd row for 17 a piece instead.

Heck, they let ME hang out with them, but I think it is because I usually bring my wife.

Two weeks from tomorrow! It is really is like the christmas countdown I did when I was a kid. I get chills every year on opening night when the lights go down and they player introductions start.
