Now the question is: after all that food, can we possibly stay awake for the game? ;)

11-25-2004, 09:41 PM
I'm awake....is anyone else???

26-26 after the first quarter. The Pacers look really good. Nice ball movement. Tinsley has picked up right where he left off. He hit those first two shots of his and made them respect his shooting which opens up his drive. Jones and Jones look good. And good to see the new guy (can't remember his name) hit his first shot as a Pacer.

Let's keep it up!!

11-25-2004, 09:41 PM
26 all after 1 quarter

Am I the only one who sees these old Pacer uniforms, and expects to see Fleming, Stipanovic, and Kellogg out on the floor? Hey Herb, get in the game, we need you out there! ;) :D

Gotta go get some pie now that my turkey has settled...

Telling first quarter stat....9 Assists (7 by Tinsley) on 11 FGs.

C'mon Pacers !!!!!We must keep up our good shooting to win.Since we have basicly no post presence we have to be able to shoot. So far Tinsley looks good so does Fred and James Jones.

11-25-2004, 10:12 PM
47-45 at the half!! Tinsley and JJones carrying the team tonight. Scot Pollard has made some key shots. The D has been great on KG. Make them beat us from the outside.

11-25-2004, 10:16 PM
I'm very impressed so far - James Jones is hot once again.

11-25-2004, 10:17 PM
So far it looks like teams are still trying to figure out the new roster and the extra ball movement in the offense.

This has been a great game so far. What we need to do now is limit KG easy shots. We need to keep hitting our shots and make free throws.Keep this up Pacers and we may get a W!!

Tinsley almost a double double in the first half. 9 PTS 9 ASTS 1 REB 2 STLS and best of all 0 TOs.

The offense just seems to roll so much better with him leading the way. He has had 3-4 "did you just see that" moves already. He has been controlled and aggressive and made great decisions.

11-25-2004, 10:53 PM
68-58 Pacers with 3:01 to go in the 3rd quarter!

The team is 11/20 from 3PT FG tonight and are shooting 50% overall.

The more I see this team, the more I love it. They are playing with such fire and unity. Tinsley is just in command of this team right now. 20 PTS, 14 ASTS, 7 REB, 5 STLS, and only 3 TOs. He was controlled and aggressive a the same time. The only flaw in his game tonight was missing those FTs. Croshere and Gill really stepped up and his some big FTs to protect the lead. Pollard played his best game yet. He was aggressive on Offense and played tough on Garnett. He took some hard fouls and just overall hustled. Jones and Jones took turns pouring in some big shots. And Harrison showed flashes of what he will be in the future.

And I just love to see the enthusiam that Reggie has on the sidelines. He was constantly coaching the new players when they weren't in the game. He is just such a great example of a true team player where he is in the game or on the bench.

This team is just feeding off of each other. I love to see the excitement they show on the court. When Pollard made a big play during the game, he just let out a huge, loud scream. And I loved when Tinsley took it to KG near the end. Although my first reaction was that he should pull it out and run 24 sec off the clock. But i loved the play anyway....it sent a message.

Charlotte tomorrow night....it's another winable game. But I don't want us to underestimate them. They did beat the Pistons the other night. But it is winable.

9-3 feels really good though.

I hope the pacers win at least 10 to 12 out of the 25 that JO is gone... so that we are still playoff contenders when he returns

11-26-2004, 12:16 AM
WOW! I got scared near the end, but they closed it out!

Hopefully we won't see the same Charlotte that Detroit has seen as of late.

Wow, I didn't see the game, but it sounds like a quality win. Pretty impressive.

On a side note, here's an odd question: do the TWolves seem to have a better quality team photographer than most? Heck, Wally's photo looks like it could be from Glamour Shots. Just wondering...
