Heh, too bad the Pistons won that OT game they had with the Bobcats right after the fight, or they would've been 0-3 after it! :D

lmao...revenge from other teams is sweet!
will the pistons boys go 1-5 without wallace? I'll laugh if they do.

I find it pretty funny that the best "team" team can't win missing one player.

Maybe a piston fan could enlighten me, but whats the pistons record in games without ben? Not trying to start a fight, just curious. I remember it being pretty bad.

Yeah, and they don't have the excuse of no Larry Brown tonight

Isn't that 1 1/2 games they've lost to us in the standings?

I still remember when, in my initial preseason Power Rankings, I didn't rank the Pistons #1. Kstat proceeded to "take me to task" for it, and I defended my position by saying that I felt Detroit's bench was fragile and arguably downgraded and that their hunger to win probably wouldn't be there anymore, since they already got their championship.

Kinda called that one, didn't I?

I think maybe the Pistons are having a hard time w/o the Pacers there to push them. I wouldn't be surprised if they lose a couple more before Ben comes back. Of course, the fact that opposing teams no longer fear to go inside hurts them a lot. Great defense can win championships with little offense. Average defense + average offense = 6th seed.

It's not just that. Teams are starting to figure Detroit out and teams are coming to play.. they are bring their A game every night and Detroit's A game isn't good enough anymore.

With Ben Wallace, the Pistons are giving up 91.5 points per game (and are 4-2). Without him, they are giving up 104.8 points a game (and are 1-4). He should win defensive player of the year every year.

I don't know how true that is - but he shouldn't have too much trouble winning it this year :(

I dunno, I think Kirilenko has a more than a good shot at getting it this year.
