We've seen some very good performances by the remaining Pacer players in the last two games, and it got me wondering who might benefit most from this extended playing time. The first two guys I considered were Fred and James Jones, especially Fred Jones. After considering last night's game further though, I began to think that Tinsley was really the one that could grow most from this, because even though he's a regular, his minutes should be increased for the foreseeable future, but more than that there is this opportunity for him to really take control and be a leader of this team.

Maybe it's because Al Albert mentioned last night that Larry Bird has considered Tinsley "the Pacers next all-star" or maybe it's just because he had that exceptional game and it's still very fresh in my mind. Anyway, it just seems that Tinsley over the next couple months might be the difference between losing a lot of ground in the standings or treading water for a second half push.

Harrison is going to benefit by leaps and bounds.
