The Mindy Project has just lined up some slam-dunk guest casting: New York Knicks forward Amar’e Stoudemire, free agent guard Baron Davis, and Indiana Pacers forward Danny Granger will play themselves in the fourth episode of Mindy Kaling’s new Fox comedy, EW has learned. In the episode, Kaling’s gynecologist character goes on an outing with her co-workers to a nightclub, where she winds up hanging out in the VIP section with the three NBA players .
The romantic/workplace comedy debuts Sept. 25 at 9:30 p.m., after New Girl. Computer owners wanting a sneak peak can watch the first episode online starting Aug. 27.

The previews for that show look awful... She is my least favorite actor on The Office...

Mindy Kaling is a brilliant writer. A good chuck of the best Office episodes are written by her. She was a writer first, and an actor on the show second. I am interested in the show because of her script writing talent. I am worried about the show because of the awful title and the fact that it seems to be attempting to duplicate "The New Girl".

He'll never match Roy's TV ratings! They should have a bet between themselves about that.

Its nice to see Indians make a ways in Hollywood even if she had to adopt an Anglican name to do so.

Never saw The Office though the last thing I watched on FOX besides the NFL was the series finale of House(gave up on the show a few years ago)

But yes Danny has a home in Los Angeles he apparently bought it from Kevin Williamson(the Scream/Dawson's Creek guy)

I think she is annoying. It worked in the office. The pilot was horrid for that show.

This is 100% correct.

Her character wasn't really made to be liked on The Office. Job well done on her part.
