Yes, I know this doesn't deserve it's own thread (mods, remove this tomorrow), but for all those ready to drink themselves off a cliff and having murderous thoughts about several Pacers execs, the dude was in a wheelchair. Maybe he'll be good, maybe he'll never play. I think it's a good, educated move.

I saw this on several Twitter feeds, btw. Realgm, hoopshype (I know), but I'm guessing there will probably be pics to prove it in the morning.

Stop being girls. It's the 26th pick.

Yes, it's the 26th pick and we took a guy who could have gone 56th.

Just because it's a late first doesn't mean you flush it down the toilet. Stop being stupid.

In that wheelchair he's still a better player than plumlee.

Still WAY better picks at 26. Teague. Ezeli. The list goes on.

Miles might as well get a wheelchair, with all the sitting he'll be doing.

Stop being stupid? Really?

Look at this whole site...people threatening to give up season tickets, getting trashed, giving up? It's crazy. I'm a fan...stands behind these guys until proven I shouldn't.

Or, maybe I'm just stupid.

To be honest, I'm kinda shocked at this level of passion regarding the #26 pick in the draft.

C'mon... You know Pacers fans don't have season tickets!

When his name got called, he went to the stage in a wheelchair. It's been no secret that the dude has bad knees...why he fell in the draft. Sure, he's a good prospect, but when you see him in a wheelchair...I don't know.

You have no idea what other teams liked Plumlee or where he would've been selected had Indy not picked him. Calling someone else stupid based on conjecture is, well, stupid.

DraftExpress' final mock had Plumlee going at 34. Look, the pick sucks, there's no two ways about it. But this "he would have been there at the end of the second round" is obviously nonsense. If they wanted him, it's clear they probably had to take him with their pick.

this is PD, if you don't threaten to kill yourself with every small mistake the organisation or its players make, you're not at the right place

i like our draft, if it were the other way around with OJ at 26 and plumlee at 36 nobody would have given two *****.

relax guys, just ****ing relax.

Which is why I have such a low post count after being here for a few years. I can usually take it, but this tonight is nuts. Everyone going crazy because we didn't pick a guy who can't walk.

The stop being stupid was a play on his 'stop being girls', which was equally unnecessary.

I guess nobody cares about that.

Bunch of girls.

There's a lesson to be learned here: don't believe everything you read on twitter.

EXACTLY....thats why I didn't know what the hell alamo was talking about....He Physically walked to the stage and shook hands with David Stern

No Wheel chair, he walked from like the first few rows of the bleacher area all the way to the stage and shook Sterns hand while they showed his highlight tape and said see I'm way better than Miles Plumberry.

But Draymond Green can walk and he is 20 times better than Plumless

Well son of a b, I guess I am stupid!

I was following it on real gm twitter and believed it. You were all correct...I'll be canceling my season tickets tonight.

Sorry for the screw up, guys! Mods, take this down.

Does Miles Plumlee have a good work ethic?

Does Miles Plumlee have a good work ethic?

Definetly! He improved from 1.8 pts, 1.4 Rebs, 0.5 blks to 6.6 pts, 7.1 Rebs, and 0.9 blks in only 4 years at Duke. You don't make that kind of leap without working your *** off.
