I'd rather take a chance on Worten or Miller too, but don't sleep on Green. Not saying he will, but he could have a better career than all the guys you listed.

It's going to be a good draft for the Pacer. I went to Lotus Gardens for carryout and threw some change in the fish pond making a wish for the Pacers to have a good draft.

"This is Larry's draft," Pritchard said. "He has prepared. I've helped him prepare but he's going to call the shots. My job with him is to be supportive and get him the information, so it's a little different. I'm not walking into a draft that I've prepared for all year as the decision-maker. Larry's making that decision and my job is to support.

"Could there be activity? Absolutely. Do I expect it? Not quite that much."

A couple of teams may be looking to trade into the late teens to get Fab Melo. Bucks, Cavs, Pacers?

No way in hell should we trade up to get it if heres there with our pick great but i wouldn't go out of our way

well if we were wanting to be crazy and really try to make a move in the draft the bobcats have a huge need at SF wonder if the bobcats would take Granger and the 26th, seems like a lowball offer but it really seems like the bobcats don't want anything to do with the #2 pick...and it's the bobcats.

But I do enjoy the trades and intrigue that goes on draft night.

Hoping for some good news tonight for the Pacers!

I'm all for trading DC (no pick) to get an early-mid teens pick. If the Pacers get a pick around 13, I wonder if the Celts would trade both their 1st rounders for it. Pacers would be in prime position to pick up a player that falls, and there are still plenty of guys in the 20s that could give us great bench depth.

Unfortunately, I feel like 99% certain we are drafting Draymond Green. I'm expecting a pretty uneventful night. Trading DC tonight makes no sense, it would have to be done after Hill is signed.

To catch you up......some experts think that the Pacers will draft Draymond Green ( TBird's Player to compare him to is Ryan Gomes ).

The vast majority of the forum view this as another Bird "Safe Pick" and aren't too enthusiastic about it cuz his ceiling doesn't appear to be very high.

So.....if you log in to PD around 6:40pm to 6:45pm PDT and all you see is that everyone on the board is either mad or disappointed...you'll know why.

Here's what needs to happen: Utah needs to give the "Jazz" nickname back to New Orleans, because there hasn't been a single note of Jazz played in Utah, ever. In turn, New Orleans relinquishes the "Hornets" nickname back to Charlotte, who mercifully drops the stupid "Bobcats" nickname into the bowels of trivia. Wizards go back to Bullets.

Most mocks had him going #5 in the last 10 days.

Mocks take into account team needs and how the various pegs play out. It is not necessarily who will be the best player. Big Boards are a more accurate rater of the two. Either way, it was not a particularly bold statement. Not a big deal, I thought it was funny.

Cleveland...whoa.

Mocks take into account team needs and how the various pegs play out. It is not necessarily who will be the best player. Big Boards are a more accurate rater of the two. Either way, it was not a particularly bold statement. Not a big deal, I thought it was funny.

Not really trying to be bold. My point was that Beal, T Robinson, Waiters, Lilliard, etc. had been getting a lot more press lately and I think MKG will be better than them all. I wouldn't be surprised if he's the best player from this draft in 5 years.

I know what mock drafts are but if you're picking #2, you're going to take the best player.
